DeSoto Park Canal for Manatees — Attraction in Satellite Beach

DeSoto Park is a gem. It has a beautiful walkway around a pond that includes exercise equipment for the public to use. The canal is a great place to watch manatees, and they just installed landscaping to keep people back from the canal edge. There are tennis courts, a beautiful baseball field, a raised bed community garden, and a playground for young kids. People frequently walk their dogs here, and they are really good about cleaning up the waste. We, and our dogs, love it...
