Well if all you want to do is hit a ball on a mini course and pray, and hope for luck, go for it. #1: The greens are VERY inconsistent! Hit the ball and you can watch the ball move side to side or which ever which way it wants to go. Will be heading straight for the hole and just when you think you’ll sink it, it takes off. #2 Why are all the holes open ended, no curb after the hole. #3 To try and get a free game you have to drop your ball in a plinko game at the end and hope again! Back to the beginning, like I said, it’s just a course of hit & hope. Of the 18 holes only a couple are holes that you can actually “try” to get a hole in one, all the rest are hit and hope!! Trying to figure out what we (20+ people, Five Generations, From ages Three to 88) could all do together, we decided to come to Saugatuck Mini Golf. P.S. with out warning to them. We arrived at 11 am overwhelming the course with our shenanigans. Creating an entire playoff tournament as we go (Needless to say I won!!!!). Read moreFrom the road this looks like a pretty simple old mini golf course, no waterfalls or big bells and whistles, but let me tel you, this little (big) course is a shocker when you get down on it. It’s not old, for one, and it’s new, and feels new. Lots of ball color choices (for those big families, like ours). And this course is HARD!
