Communication is impossible with this business. I dropped my car off for an appointment Thursday morning. We made the appointment on Tuesday. We made sure to specify that I needed the vehicle back by 5 PM. When I had arrived back around 4:40 PM, I arrived to my vehicle in the same spot with the same tires. When we asked why, we were told that wholesale tires can take up to 2 days, which we were not told over the phone. Speaking of the phone, around 3 PM, we spent around an hour bouncing between numbers and being put on hold, just to never got ahold of anybody. They finished my vehicle on the same Thursday after we had left and we picked it up Friday morning. We also specified over the phone that we wanted to keep the old tires, but had to bring my vehicle to the back of the building because they originally planned on disposing of my tires. Additionally, Hugo, an individual working on the front desk, is incredibly rude. This whole situation would have been easily avoidable if it were possible to get ahold of anyone on the phone (which I believe Hugo is meant to answer), but instead he decided to double down, saying "They (referring to him and his coworkers) shouldn't have to deal with this (referring to us)."
Luckily for Hugo, and anyone else at this Saugus location who feels this way, you won't have to deal with us anymore. Our business will go...
Read moreDon't use the website to schedule work. I made a 9 AM appointment for an alignment 6 days in advance. They sent an email confirmation to acknowledge the appointment. When I showed up, they informed me that they do not have an alignment tech on Thursdays. They said they tried to contact me that morning but my phones battery had died. They have my email address (I got a confirmation) but chose not to send me email when they could not reach me by phone. They waited until less than one hour before my appointment before trying to notify me. If you want to have an alignment after getting new tires on Thursdays you would have to return another day. Obviously they don't have any consideration for their (former) customer's time. Maybe program your scheduling system to have awareness of store staff limitations. If you can't do that, contact customers right away if they schedule work that can't be done on a certain day, don't wait until 20 minutes before the appointment. Read moreI came in to the Saugus Town Fair Tire location to purchase and install 2 new front tires on my wife’s 2021 Lexus 350. The cost with a front end alignment was going to be $750. Mike in sales let me know they have 4 Michelin Tires tires that were returned within in 2 days and are actually an upgrade to what was currently on the my wife’s Lexus. The 4 tires went for $279 each and he could give them to me for $179 each. So with the alignment it was a total $951.68. So for an extra $200 I received 4 new tires. If I hadn’t approved this I would’ve had to replace my 2 rear tires within a year which would’ve cost me another $750. So a total for of $1,400.00. Mike ultimately saved my wife and I $750 dollars. Marc the store manager installed my tires and did an amazing job! I cannot say enough regarding the customer service at the Town Fair Tire in Saugus, MA.
