I called Fred’s Bait and Tackle in the beginning of February, to my surprise he was open. I was looking for a particular fishing reel called Shimano Thunnus Ci4. First of all, I was amazed that they had them in stock and all the sizes as well. I wasn’t sure if I wanted a 4000 or 6000 series. I had a chance to hold both the reels and made my decision. I called all the tackle shops and big box stores in a 45min. radius. Nobody had both sizes in stock. Next I wanted a surf rod that was 2pc. but had a 70/30 split. They had that also. So I walked out with a Shimano Thunnus Ci4 6000 and a Tsunami Air Wave Elite. When I got home I compared the prices to the internet and the reel was 10 dollars cheaper and the rod was 7 dollars cheaper. I’m going back for a Shimano Thunnus Ci4 4000 and a Tsunami rod next week. Thanks for your inventory, kindness, and helpful information. I was there for more then an hour asking just about everything I could think of. He had so much patients with all my questions. I spent $400 and will be back next week to spend another $340. I’ve found my go to for every outing. I tend to be very loyal customer when I find a...
Read moreI heard something weird has been going on with Kash so I stopped in to say hello and buy some bait ( I used to stop by Freds almost every other day on my way to the beach and I have been a customer for many years.. ) but now adays both him and his wife have been acting very weird / inappropriate and paranoid. They are clearly battling demons and are no longer aware of how to act infront of customers. They were acting very inappropriate and rude and I am just glad I didn't bring my kids this time. Everything is now overpriced and the baits are spoiled rotten. I seen other people there doing shady buisness dealings. I think they gave up on this as a legit tackle shop and are making some money on the side selling other things. I hope Kash and his wife can get treatment for whatever demons they are battling but I will never do buisness...
