Fogo Express — Restaurant in Sayreville

What happened to Fogo??? This used to be my favorite little "Portuguese inspired" place! Most of the time I ordered the grilled Salmon with veggies! It was so fresh and delicious! The last few times it was a little over cooked, but still fresh salmon and steamed vegetables, but nothing to keep me away for long. This last time it was just bad!!! You could see they didn't cook fresh salmon and veggies, but frozen. It looked like it came from the frozen aisle of a grocery store. The vegetables were mushy and the salmon was tough to the bite and had an off taste. I took two bites and threw it off. What happened to you Fogo Express? Sigh... I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I used to love this place and I hope not everything is as inedible as...

We placed a order for Steak and Shrimp with garlic sauce thru Uber Eats. Food came in good time but upon arrival and after the first bite. Spoiled steak.

I understand that mishaps happen when providing a service and that’s fine and well as long as you make it right. I reached out to Fogo express to see if they were willing to make it right. Their answer? “NO! We do not sell spoiled steak.” Well, judging by recent reviews and our fresh experience(the only thing fresh about this unpleasant interaction)I believe you do. And not only steaks.

They said to call and work it out with Uber Eats. 0% ownership. 0% professionalism. 100% spoiled attitude…which I guess goes well with their...

Firstly , I’ll mention that I’m a huge fan of Brazilian bbq! And it’s actually very hard to cook meat so it wouldn’t be tasty. But if you like bbq, don’t come here! I’ve got chicken bbq, beef ribs and French fries. The only reason why it’s 2 stars and not one, is because chicken was ok. But ribs and fries were beyond disgusting!!! There is no way you can chew that ribs !!! Maybe dog could?! 🤷🏼‍♀️ Fries looked and tasted like they were used from leftovers and reheated 🤢 And I thought that during those whole pandemic thing, restaurants would do better not to lose clients and attract more... but not here! So, save your time, money and stomach and do your business...
