Where do I begin. I have lived in Maine for a decade. I moved here as a professional magic player and open my own gaming hobby shop that eventually closed down. If I were to tell you to go anywhere in Maine to play magic and have fun this would be it. There are a lot of stores to choose from but Eric and the guys behind the counter will always move heaven and Earth to make sure you have a great time there's always consistent quantity of good product and singles are absolutely 2nd to none. If you're looking to play legacy, modern, vintage or even just standard or throwing together a new popper cube or EDH deck they have what you need. Easily 2 decades worth of knowledge in Magic the Gathering. And I haven't even touched on their board game selection their accessory selections for multiple game types. Stopped in for the first time, and for a "small" store they still pack in an amazing selection. Big shout out to Jesse for walking me through a bunch of products and game mechanics to help me get back into magic the gathering. What would have been overwhelming to navigate on my own became a great stop in. He was more than willing to answer all my questions, and taught me a ton about the game. As well as helped me pick out the right products that will help me build up a starter collection within my budget. I walked in lost, and left feeling confident that I had a path forward and much better understanding. Lastly he was very welcoming with suggesting I check out some of their magic nights. This is easily the best shop in the state to come shop for and play games like Magic the Gathering with events on most days! Great selection of board games as well as accessories for games! Very friendly owner and staff, extremely clean shop and competitive prices. Safe area with great restaurants near by too! I drive over a hour 1-2 times a week to come here to play over other shops for a reason. Proud to call...
