I had the pleasure of attending Habitat for Humanity's third annual Hops for Homes Beer Festival! This was the perfect way to learn more about all HFH does and have so much fun while doing it. This summer fundraiser brought together the community, local breweries, wineries, cideries, distilleries, food trucks, musicians, and vendors. I highly recommend you try to attend this event in the future. It was so worth it. Let’s continue to support and spread the word about the amazing work Habitat for Humanity does!

This is from my perspective as both a consumer and a volunteer:

From my volunteer experience, it can be chaotic at times but I've always felt the heart ship for the common goal in mind. Often times I have met some of the most wholistic people in my life volunteering. With a rotating door of different people in and out I am impressed with how well it comes together. Working in new construction for a for profit builder this is already a huge challenge much less being a non profit

As a consumer, I have had a great time in the reStore. I've bought several things from there and as a first time home buyer it really has made a difference for me. Staff is incredibly nice and if you're looking you'll find something pleasant you...

Dirty, unorganized, large amount of items not priced and what's priced is overpriced. They make the prices up as you are being cashed out. They are extremely rude people especially Angie. When the Manager was asked about us not getting 50% off a Christmas item they didn't correct it. The Manager was no help at all either. She literally stood there and let the Associate get away with her poor behavior. It's not my first visit and I have given this location many chances. Today was the last. I will never recommend this store or visit it again. It's sad I always thrift and would love to support my community but never again. I worked as a retail Manager for 22 years I've never treated customers like that. They should be ashamed...

My husband took a pedestal sink in perfect condition but just a little dirty and other items for donations. He was told (by the worker with a negative attitude) they don’t want the sink because it won’t sell. My husband said to him to give it for free. The worker refused to take it. The other items like 3 desks and chairs were donated back in good condition. The gentleman made remarks about those items too. What I can’t understand is if we are donating these items for free to them, why do we have to be met with so much attitude which makes you feel so uncomfortable. This isn’t the first time we have witnessed this kind of attitude so therefore we will not be donating or shopping at this...
