Haven Play Lounge and Events — Local services in Scotts Valley

We held our daughter’s 3rd birthday at Havens Play lounge over the weekend. I have to say, I was so impressed! From my first emails with Shastina to the final stages of the party, everything was smooth and easy. Shastina was a great and clear communicator. The party package included decorations, pizza, set up and clean up, and a generous three hours of play. It was such a relief as a parent of a small child to have someone handle these details and all the clean up. The kids looooooved the space. My daughter ran right in and started playing the moment we arrived and was the last kid standing at the end. It worked great for our daughter to have a neutral space for her and her friends. I was truly amazed how few meltdowns there were. The play space is large and has plenty of options for the kiddos to rotate through different play options. We had a few babies and the infant area was great for them. One mom even had an uninterrupted conversation for an extended period while her son played quietly with trucks! Magic! I love this gem of a spot and so does my daughter. Hard to get her out! The prices are good. And they have a month to month or more deals. Shastina makes a killer drink. Yes coffee drinks! They have snacks for adults and kids and drinks. Great options. SUPER clean space. Has a baby section and a toddler and up section. Plenty of chairs. The atmosphere is perfect. I felt so relaxed being in there, I wanted to take a nap. Haha. There is a small shuffle board. Really soft bamboo clothing. I absolutely love this hidden gem. I've taken my 2 year old daughter here twice now and she absolutely loves it. Although we had only been there once before the staff greeted her by name when we walked in the second time. The staff is amazing. They regularly played with my daughter showing her toys, I think they had a tea party to.

It's a perfect spot for small kids. It's a relaxed fun and not as overwhelming for my 2 year old as a regular outdoor playground with big kids running around. I think my daughter would be happy playing there all day if she could.

We will be back regularly and can't wait to have Octavia's 3rd...
