Tourist trap. Paid $120-plus for three tickets for a fall-themed experience but only got one small pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. No face-painting, candle-making, or bounce house, though those were advertised. The barbecue restaurant was closed. Not all of the train “cars” are covered. The lady “helping” with the crafts for kids was not very helpful and rudely dismissed our child who asked her a question. Did not have crafts appropriate for different ages, just coloring with crayons and a simple corn-husk doll. The mini-tractors for kids to pedal-ride had plastic wheels, so they spun out in the dirt and would not move unless a parent pushed. A nice day and the redwoods are cool to ride through, but not worth...

What a disappointment. The conductor ruined it. #1. He thinks himself a comedian. However, his form of comedy was dark and inappropriate for families and children. #2. He called Elon Musk a “monster”. Keep your opinions to yourself. How many jobs have you created. #3. He said nothing about the trail or trees. We sat for an hour and a half hearing stories on how he had to “clean up his child’s vomit at home”. #4. He pulled out his fiddle, played one note then said “I’m too tired to play” and put it away. Is he the usual conductor or a replacement ? Either way, we brought a group from over seas and were so excited but they were not impressed. Next time take your guests...
