Jimmy's Furniture and mattress — Local services in Scottsville

I purchased a farm table set from Jimmys furniture there in Scottsville. Due to the covid19, I ordered it from their facebook. It was sold as solid heavy duty wood. This was very misleading and ment to be deceptive. I paid full price plus tax and debit card fee over the phone. I paid a delivery fee as well. They took my payment over the phone. They NEVER SAID NO RETURNS. I ask them to send the receipt with the delivery person. My delivery person double wrapped everything and it was delivered completely dry.

Once it arrived, I had extra help available to help unload it. It was so light, I could unload every piece myself. I meticulously unwrapped every piece of furniture and was in shock at the low quality of the furniture, it was completely misrepresented as solid wood and no receipt was sent. I immediately messaged the seller, saying I was unhappy with the quality and would like to return it. I offered to wrap it up completely and return it with the delivery person, but they refused. I was told that ALL sales are final; however, when he took my money he didn’t mention that to me or I would have never purchased it. The person messaging me was so rude, and said they’ve never had a complaint. I checked the BBB and guess what, they are a C-. Go there and read it for yourself.

They tried to say that since I had it delivered in the rain we must have ruined it. I have photos of the packed delivery truck. There was not one drop of rain on it. It arrived in perfect condition (well without rain on it). I did not purchase "as is" or clearance items. I tried to reason with them, they blocked me and took down my posts. Again, I offered to wrap it up completely and return it with the delivery person, but they refused. I reported them to the BBB and Kentucky Attorney Generals office.

Me and my family stopped by one weekend and picked out a bed room suit, took photos on my phone of prices etc, told Jimmy I was very interested and with a hand shake that I would be back, the next weekend my mother stopped and purchased the bedroom as a surprise gift for me, I go today to pick it up, The original bedroom suit had the price removed and Jimmy walks me upstairs and shows me a bedroom suit in storage that’s similar to one I picked out and paid full price for and told me to come back in 1 hour and he would have it ready kinda confused I leave and check my photos from the week before. And come back in a hour and sitting outside is a scratched and damaged bedroom suit 1/3rd the size of the original, I pointed out all the flaws and showed Jimmy the pictures of the prices on my phone and even got on Facebook and showed the prices they advertise on social media and even said this wasn’t the one you even showed me upstairs and he looks at me and says my daughter does the sales when your mom come it wasn’t on sale I sold this to your mother as clearance and walked away and hide in his office, I wish I could post pictures and videos on here showing this whole transition but I can’t this is a $1800 lesson that will not be forgotten, I would never purchase or recommend to a friend to buy anything from...

I got a kitchen table with six bar stools. The bar stools were unlevel. He told me he would make it right. Keep in mind I got these back in may. He told me he would order me more. I kelp calling he would they be in in a week. I called again his daughter would answer she would say he is busy. I tell him to call you.
