It took a year of complaining of right side, wobbling noise, almost feeling as itâs the tire is gonna come off of the room, but because it wasnât rotted out and warranty work isnât as reputable and you donât get the same treatment you were paying out of pocket for some reason, make that make sense to me because it does not make sense to me in the slightest bit. I thought that was the reason we pay thousands of dollars for the warranties, due to the fact, they donât get paid for anything over the amount of the time they say itâs going to take to repair that part. They donât like taking the work. Itâs easier to keep pushing the people off that would go over if it was anybody paying out of pocket, they donât have a choice to pay more because sorry, sir we had to do this and the third and it took longer than expected , I was told that that makes no sense we get paid the same. Thereâs no difference but I get every single thing down to every word you say has to do with building the business better and better no matter what it takes even if it takes to keep denying a customer , her right to getting something fixed that is broke long story short when it came time for inspection then it got a little more serious. Nobody I think wanted to put their name and license number down and some thing that if something came back this customer getting a second opinion and we say this car is OK and safe enough to be on the road when really this part on the right side , I think thatâs why it was brought in for six times during the seven month period. I had the car but I was kept being told. Iâm losing my mind. Thereâs nothing wrong. They take it everywhere for a drive. They check it on the lift every time they rotate tires they do this oil change that thereâs nothing wrong. They have no idea what it is that Iâm thinking One time I was told they left a piece of plastic on the break that couldâve been it, but it wasnât but all of a sudden like I said inspection time well received a call. Hey a wheel bearing needs to be put on the right front side now that Iâve complained about months of having the car for seven months and it was brought in six times for that same complaint and I got turned away every time they replace it And then realize you have a warranty you donât have to pay for it so thatâs good. I said yes that is good. I said this is what Iâve been asking for. I knew there was something wrong. Thank you for finally fixing it after a very ignorant person that works in service department sheâs a female I would never put somebody out there like that but itâs very surprising the way sheâs able to act over customers and still work environment , otherwise I can say they have good business down there because they donât know the service representative. She was very very all itâs only getting fixed or I only getting anything done if I say so type as if she was almost partner with owning the company as she was getting paid, she was doing the way she acted about anything For my car like I said, maybe it couldâve been that maybe I wouldâve had better service and wouldâve had work done that needed to be done if I had somebody different so who is to say but for the price I paid for my car I definitely got taken advantage of that for the service I go through. I definitely write that very lol The only thing I could say is the staff other than the girl they had given me for my service is nice but they do terrible business to put somebody down. I have to speak the...
Read moreBuyer beware! They will take advantage of first time buyers. Make sure to do your research before going here. They used every tactic known to ensure the sale. I went here with extremely good credit and I was told that my credit was much lower. I was made to sign a paper saying so. I asked for a copy of all the paperwork that I signed and only received a few papers. I went back asking for the rest and was still short. Heres the full story... We arrived around 4:30 p.m. on July 18th 2024. I was sure i would get a great deal because we own an automotive business in the town next door and have worked with toyota before. My husband got his vehicle here too. But, I was very wrong. The car i liked online was "not for sale", as it just arrived. We were offered a test drive anyway. I didnt see the car on the lot as we waited outside for the sales person. After about 20 mins, i saw her "back" the vehicle into a spot. There was a "not for sale sign" in the window that she took off, no biggie at the time. Being in the tire business, I noticed the tires were literally just put on. A $1200 set of tires. I wasnt going to question that! The car being warmed up already, ran like a dream. It had new inspection stickers for September. (I will get back to this) I loved the car and made it known, which did not help me. Waiting for about 2 hours(the dealership is now closed and employees are staying late). Finally met with the financial advisor who said there would be no warranty and it is "As is". Not even 30 days. Wish i wouldve known that! Being tired, excited, and naive, i agreed on goodwill and the fact that toyota does a 120pt inspection on vehicles of higher miles. I was told my credit was much lower than I thought, my file was "thin", and the car has high miles. (A few months prior my score was nearly 800.) I just wanted the car! My dream car! The payments were still very affordable except Toyota would provide the loan. The banks would not. Coincidence? I don't think so. I did get an average interest rate, but i KNOW i couldve gotten better now. About 1 week later, after taking the car home, we realized upon cold start, white smoke pouring out. To the point it would block the back up camera. Also, after about 300 miles, needed a quart of oil. I made an appointment with toyota and claimed "misrepresentation". How can you not notice that?? It would fill their garage. Here's the kicker! The car was warm when I first drove it, the carfax says it was inspected that day(remember the 20 minutes I waited to test drive it? And new tires? That's a very short period of time considering it takes about 20 minutes just to change tires). The "not for sale" sign is used for vehicles that still need inspection. So, did toyota skip the 120pt certifed used inspection, regular inspection and emissions, and just put tires and stickers on it while I was waiting to test drive it? Refused a warranty. Did they know the car had an issue? We didnt leave that day until 8pm. A common tactic to rush through paperwork (which i still havent recieved all of) (((See photos for the rest of this review. Couldn't fit all...
Read moreIt generally is my habit to forward a positive review whenever I can. However, I am sad to have to report that this has changed. On May 19, 2022 I came to service my car with problems of a really rough ride â I mentioned that the area in which I live had countless half-finished road repairs. More than once I hit a barely visible break in the road with a really hard bump. I asked Toyota for a balancing of the wheels. The other issue was that during breaking there was a definite pulsation and I asked for a rotor check. After having the car checked by one of your technicians, I was informed that it needed a variety of issues like âTie Rod Endâ replacements, alignment and many more services, including the necessary adjustments for passing the inspection due. The technician also related that my wheels did not need balancing, that an alignment would take care of the âshakesâ â and that there was no urgent need to deal with the brakes. My wonderful service advisor Kacie K. was more than helpful - as always - and arranged for a rental for the day. On my return the following day I was happy thinking that all had been taken care of â and paid my bill of $2797.16. Thereafter I left the premises. I had not driven very far when I noticed that the ride was even rougher than before and called back to arrange for a further examination. Unfortunately, due to a flood in my house, I was only able to return after several days. I mentioned that the ride was even rougher now and asked if the tires may still be in need of balancing, as well as possibly being over-inflated...? After Kacie consulted with the technician, we were told that the tires were ok, with no overinflation, and again no need to balance. It was suggested to replace all pads and rotors. The rotors had been installed just a year ago â just out of range of warranty! I was unable to comply with this suggestion and left for home. ** A couple of days later I consulted a local technician near my residence; he took my car to his place of work and checked the car: tires â were found to be overinflated to 37psiâ rather than the usual recommended 32psi all wheels were balanced and corrected â rides perfectly now rotors replaced â breaking is normal In short: I now have my car back â But my trust in Toyotaâs ability to diagnose plus ignore the customerâs information has been deeply damaged.
