
Update I did contact corporate at the email address they responded to me with below and no one ever wrote back to me. So obviously there wasn't any true desire to resolve the issue with me. They only wanted to appear as though they're customer oriented in their response to my poor review. What's more is they told me when I canceled my membership that I still had another month of membership left since I paid it but after leaving this review they immediately canceled my membership.**
I really love this gym. The staff is super nice and helpful and the gym is always clean and it has lots of equipment. My complaint is against corporate, specifically the refund department but I couldn't find a place to leave a Google review for corporate. If find it I will delete this review and place it on their page.
I have been planning on canceling my membership because we will soon have a gym at home. Today I saw that 10 Fitness had charged me their $45 annual fee but for some reason I wasn't expecting it to be charged until the summer. I must've joined earlier than I remember. So I called right away to cancel my membership and told the girl who answered that I was happy to pay for my next month's fee but asked if there was any way for me to get a refund for the annual fee. She told me I'd have to fill out a form online, which I did. I explained on the form that I did not want a refund for my monthly fee. I was just hoping to get a refund on the annual fee because I'd just missed the renewal. They wrote back and told me they would not refund that fee because I hadn't requested it three days before the charge and that their decision was final. Totally understand that is their policy but when you miss a yearly annual fee by a couple of days you'd think they'd show you some grace. So my 1 star review is for their terrible corporate customer service. I've attached a screenshot of their email. It just comes across as another abrupt, cold, money hungry corporation, which, luckily for the people in this town, is a complete juxtaposition from their gym staff...

My knee hurt most of the time and was locking up on me in the middle of the night. It was at that point that I had a conversation with Austin Melvin who offered his encouragement and advice to try and rehab my knee before opting for surgery. So, I agreed and hired him as my trainer. Today is February 14, 2025, and I just got off the treadmill where I ran (slowly and not very long) for the first time in 4 years without any pain. In October, I didnāt think that was possible. Under Austinā s guidance I have lost quite a few fat pounds and increased my muscle mass and strength pretty dramatically. Not one machine faces a tv. They're to your back. Why even put up TVs. Or at least hang some on the giant wall on the other side that has nothing on it. I mean I just love staring at the clock on the wall when I'm using a machine lol. Saying.... hey you've been here too long better go. Why even have a clock in a gym. Shouldn't it be like a casino where we should stay as long as possible. Oh and who decided to get rid of the 35 lb weights? It just messes the whole thing up. Put a 35 on. Oh wait let me go find a ten that's halfway down the the gym because no weight is on the right spot in there. That's a fact. Other than that, it's always clean and good...
