Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Searcy

I really tried to resolve this in a friendly way. But ...well... it is all explained below. I am a disabled person who was discriminated against. What follows is the complaint I sent to the Department Of Justice.

Sonic...you make a great footlong, but you are about to have an even longer headache courtesy of the federal government.

A civil suit might be a nice touch as well.

I am a survivor of laryngeal cancer, and unable to speak. I carry a dry-erase board with me for situations like this. Since I obviously cannot use the microphone at Sonic, I wrote my order on my board, as well as an explanation of my disability, and carried it inside with me.

I handed it to an employee who started to take my order. At one point he seemed confused about something, so I tried to explain it by writing something else. Then, without a word, he walked away. No explanation. Other employees came by to use the register. All ignored me. The first employee did not return. I felt humiliated as I rarely have in life.

I used Sonic's website to complain about this. They insulted me even worse by offering me a free drink or side-item.

Had they been interested in resolving this, I might not be filing this complaint. But, apparently, they don't care about disabled people. It seems that they don't want any customer who might knock them off their...

Very dissatisfied, my husband and I ordered burgers and french fries. The french fries were fresh and really hot they came straight from the grease, bad part was that they took the fries straight from the grease to our family sized box and our box was filled with way to much grease and made eating our fries unenjoyable. My burger had hard stale bread and my hamburger pattie wasn't even hot, it was warm. After taking a bite I looked at my husband and told him how old and hard my hamburger buns were and he said his was too. When I looked at his burger he was upset because his burger was very very messy made and wasn't even warm enough to melt his cheese to the burger. I wouldn't recommend anyone eating at this Sonic. I promise it's worth the few extra miles to go to the other...

I had one of the saddest breakfasts from a Sonic in my entire life this morning. I ordered a Super sonic Breakfast Burito and a Large order of Cheddar Peppers. The sausage in the burrito is barely cooked, it looks... Grey and unappetizing not to mention there is no flavor. The cheese isn't even melted. WAY to many onions, and only 1 jalapeño! The Chedar Peppers were over cooked and tasted a bit burned, but I could over look that... if they hadn't forgotten the Ranch. Even when I asked if it was in the bag, I was told yes. Shouldn't have trusted the car hop.

All of this is just whatever... if it wasn't for the fact that this is how I celebrate my late fathers birthday... Sorry Dad,...
