Today I went to this store and waited to get the attention of the owner/manager, he said his name was Paul. Once I received his attention I attempted to ask a question, he barely gave me a response and when I needed clarity he brushed me off as if I never asked him anything. He was very rude and disrespectful and then he told me that one of the people working on the floor could help me because he was busy. I asked if they would be able to answer a question related to ordering a specific length of hair and color because it wasn't usually in stock...he walked away as he shunned his shoulder and said "she should be able to answer it". The person on the floor stated she wasn't able to provide that type of information and she apologized. I felt there was some racism going on, I can't say for sure because there was one black guy in the store and the manager/owner rushed from behind the counter where the wigs were, bypassed me to help the black guy. I'm not sure how he saw him because the black guy was all the way at the other end of the store, but it was strange how he rushed from behind the counter to help him so quickly as I was waiting in front of the counter to speak to him. I'm a black female so maybe he has no respect for black women or he was just rude and should not own or manage any type of business. I felt so disrespected as if he felt I was beneath him and I didn't deserve any respect. I shop at this store often but never again. Without customer's his business would fail so he needs to be more mindful of how he treats his customer's no matter what race/gender they are. Before leaving I told him that I did not like how he treated me in his store today. I told the cashier to remove all my items because I was not going to give this store...
Read moreI’m giving a 1 star because of the stores poor policy. I bought some twist hair. I went back the following day to exchange them to another item I preferred. The item I preferred was out of stock, according to the store manager. I requested if I can use my credit at a nearby Super Beauty or any branch around. The store manager told me that I can only use my credit at that specific location. Nowhere else. Which doesn’t make sense and was inconvenient for me. So I had to use my credit reluctantly on items I never intended to buy. Whilst I was waiting in a long line due to one cashier, when they had two more workers standing doing nothing and on their phones, there was an older lady experiencing similar issues with me. Inside the store was really hot, with 54 degrees outside. Management should look into these policies and make some modifications in order to keep their valued customers. From my perspective, I won’t be visiting this location anymore. Kindly look into your store policies if you value your customers. At least two cashiers should be open when customers are waiting to check out and most importantly, credit should be able to be used at any Super Beauty branch to avoid...
Read moreAfter a long week at work I finally wanted to enjoy my Saturday and spend my money on my hair. Soon as I walk in these little Spanish girls young enough to be my damn children kept hawking me asking if I needed help knowing damn well I didn’t because different ones kept asking and going back to the register. When I needed assistance I got the attention of someone who didn’t even know what she was talking about 🥴. Then I try to get some oil and it’s locked up and I’m told they will bring it to the register. First of all it’s some damn hair oil and if you have security right at the door why treat your customers like criminals. I understand people steal but don’t treat us all like that’s what we’re doing. This is why I only online shop for my hair products. These beauty supply stores are overpriced and judgmental of their customers. Plus these young tik tok kids who don’t even know anything don’t have good customer service. I under it’s not adults applying to these jobs because they don’t want to pay real money but damn yall gone make someone child be in something they shouldn’t be in by telling them treat the customers...
