Heather does incredible work. She's one of only 3 people I've found in the last 6 years who have done a great job on my hair every time, from day one. (No offense to other stylists, barbers, and so on whose work I have not seen.) She's been doing my hair since the beginning of the pandemic, right before the lockdowns started.

She's as precise as I need her to be, and she doesn't ever seem to be annoyed or offended when I have suggestions, catch something that seems off, or ask her to change something.

Fig itself has a chill, welcoming studio atmosphere and a cute custom sign hanging on its outdoor waiting area/patio shade overhang thing. They've got social media too, but I don't do Instagram and the like, so I can't remember which sites they're on other than the 'gram. Check it out for examples of their work and cute memes!

Edit February 2025: had to stop going in July 2024 due to moving an hour away and due to difficulty in scheduling because Heather gets booked up weeks if not months in advance because that's how...

I can’t recommend Robert enough! He is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled at cutting all hair types—from my kid’s straight hair to my curly. He always takes the time to understand what we want and delivers flawless cuts that suit our hair’s natural texture perfectly. He’s also given me tips that have transformed how I style my hair, and for the first time ever, it’s curly without being weighed down by product! I requested an appointment with Robert recently, which he accepted only to cancel on me with one hour’s notice, saying he had forgotten to take his allergy medicine that day and was “a mess”. Ok. He offered to reschedule for the next day, but never responded when I said I could do that. Really disappointed in how unprofessional this was. I was really looking forward to trying out this salon, especially since I live in the neighborhood. I’ve booked an appointment at another salon but now have to wait another three weeks for a haircut....
