This park is at the Lake Washington shore and adjacent to Genesee Park. It is here that Seafair events and seating take place each year. It is a place to watch our youth training their dragon boats. The restrooms and locker rooms are normally clean. Some people fish from the docks. Others enjoy their time lounging next to the water. And yet others have launched their watercraft. Being a part of the Genesee Park complex there is a lot more to do and experience. There are walking paths and trails. The dog park is close by. There is the shoreline greenbelt that will take you to Seward Park to the south as well as Mt Baker and Coleman Parks to the north. Beautiful walks regardless of the season. Read moreRecently went to launch jet skis here. First off, this place could use a face lift, the launch area looks a little run down but it works. A cop car rolled through once while we were there. Why? Idk. Some people drove through, music blasting but no issues with anyone. Limited space near the launch to hangout, not a big (or nice) grassy area so we walked down to the LK spot south.
