Edit- message to owner- I don’t see how I can reply to your comment with a new post so am responding this way. I appreciate your offer. My husband has a traumatic brain injury & dementia. I am his sole caregiver so it is not easy for me to stop in to pick up replacement meals without planning for his care. Would I be able to pick up my original order of 1 chicken shawarma plate & 1 lamb/beef shawarma plate, substituting Baba Ganoush side for the hummus on both, between 4:45-5pm on Thursday, April 17th?
After reading many positive reviews, I was looking forward to enjoying some tasty Mediterranean food. Unfortunately our experience was nothing like what others posted. I ordered a lamb & beef shawarma & a chicken shawarma online to pick up just before 4:30 on Saturday afternoon. I arrived for pickup right when the time range indicated it would be ready. A man was leaving with his takeout as I came in. The friendly worker said I could sit down while he prepared my order. There were no other customers waiting for food orders. I live 5 minutes away from the restaurant & dished up the food as soon as I brought it home. Both of us were very disappointed in our meals. The meats & rice were dry, & the salads were limp. The hummus tasted strong, as though the garlic had sat for too long. All of the food seemed as though it had sat for awhile, & didn't have the fresh appearance that the posted photos in other reviews had. I’m not sure why the quality was so different with our order, but I hope it doesn’t happen to others. Sadly, It was a waste of almost $50, plus I had to prepare something else...
Read moreWe just discovered this place when we had to stop by the Sherwin Williams paint store. What an amazing find! The food is delicious and plentiful. We liked the hummus so much we asked to buy a quarter pint to take home with us. The chicken in the shawarma was moist and flavorful and unlike a lot of chicken shawarma wraps, you get an even mixture of chicken, veggies and sauce in every bite. Easily could share this between 2 people. It comes with garlic sauce but honestly, it’s so juicy and flavorful, you don’t really need it.
Then, we split the kofta / kufta kebab platter. The kebab was delicious and well seasoned and had that smoky charred flavor that made it even better. And plenty of sauce!
And the rice! Oh my gosh, it was amazing. Not sure what spices they cook it in but it was awesome. My partner has been looking for a kebab place that lived up to the quality of places he ate at when he was much younger ….Shawarma Land hit the mark! We will definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Middle Eastern food. Also, there’s parking!!!
The service is friendly and nice and you can tell everything is homemade.
The restaurant is small and very clean, with 3 tables and chairs, and free fresh cold water if you don’t want to purchase a beverage. We went there for lunchtime on a Sunday and there was seating. It’s only been open for 6 months and they said business is doing well. I can...

I visited this Mediterranean restaurant for lunch and ordered the chicken shawarma plate. Overall, it was okay, but a few things stood out. The hummus was really good. However, the rice was extremely oily. It had a very strong olive oil taste, and the amount of oil made it hard for me to eat much. In fact, when I lifted my plate, the oil had soaked through it and left a noticeable pool on the tray — a bit off-putting.
The seating area is decent, and the store itself is clean, which I appreciated. Also, customer service was good — friendly and efficient.
I think this place has potential, especially with how good the hummus was, but they could definitely improve the rice to make the overall dish...
