HORRIBLE customer service/ horrible people who think a customer asking them to pay them directly instead of using my phone and I quote “ it’s not my job”.ticket # 981-021 (175) I went to pay for my parking today at 3:35ish when the person working behind the glass window decided to make an announcement that the machine I was trying to pay was out of service (machine next to me had a notice stuck on it that it was out of service). So the person working behind the glass window decided to come out of it ( I interrupted his tiktok/ Instagram/tweeter sessions) because when he came out to show me how to eject the ticket I asked him how are people supposed to pay if they don’t have a phone? He said “ don’t worry about it, we would assist them, but you have a phone so you can use your phone and started to walk away. I said what if don’t want to use my phone, he said: quote: “well you don’t have an option but to use your phone” I walked to my car and tried to use my phone 3 times because I have the verification numbers texted to my phone and it was not working; I walked BACK to the “lack of Customer service station” where I was told to show him what I was doing and I asked him I said why can’t I pay you directly? Because you have a phone. He told me I was not patient enough. I have dealt with enough D.Bs in my life but this one takes the cake. Maybe if I was a different religion, race etc I would have been able to pay him directly? Before you as a company even try to deny this you have no leg to stand on! I was finally able to pay through my phone because the D.B working there’s “ it’s not my job to help you pay” refused multiple multiple times to take my money....because it’s not his job if you have a phone. Before you even tell me it’s because of coved STOP! That’s a BIG FAT LIE!

As a customer the only power that I have is to never park there again and to make sure that every chance that I have to never recommend this parking company ever again to anyone who works and commutes to the city on the daily and to anyone who is a tourist. Maybe when this person is out of a job he should remember what he told the customers who provide him with a paycheck “it’s not my job”. I’ve never left a review for a parking garage o anything for that mater before but this one deserved one because I have never ever dealt with someone in a customer service industry where they have actually said “it’s not my job”: I truly would not feel bad if this company seized business tomorrow don’t deserve to be in business! Recommendations : provide adequate customer service training to the people you hire to run your business, 2/pay attention to your customer...

The lot is a small benefit if you find yourself somehow needing to park at Secaucus to catch the train. The problem: there is no other parking for the station so they get away with charging sky high rates at all times during the week and on weekends. Go one minute past 12 hours, then your already expensive rate doubles. There is something wrong when your parking fee for one day ends up at almost the cost of a parking ticket. Even the "1/2 day" rate is more than the toll to cross the Hudson (and is double if you go past 12 hours). If you spend a little time researching nearby train or bus stations often with free parking on the weekends, you should never have to park here. They sell convenience but in reality, you do not save much of anything. You have to budget gas, tolls, and time driving to the parking lot and speed walk 10 minutes just to get to the platforms depending on where you parked. Most people who drive into the city need to in one way or another and most drive in the general vicinity of a train or bus station with cheaper and better parking options whether going to New York or south since those lots actually have competition and/or are run by the town where even if you max out the meter, do not come close to the daily parking fee here. A little research can save you a ton over buying into their false sense of convenience driven by corporate greed, which only truly benefits a niche...

This parking lot is convenient and easy to get to from the turnpike. It is just a short walk to/from the train station (after spending 12 hours walking around New York, it is a relief to know you only have a short walk to your car after getting off the train). We have parked here several times for trips into New York. The first time we were concerned about leaving our car overnight, but the lot seems safe and there always attendants present. While the prices may seem high at first glance, I think $64 for two overnights is a pretty good deal compared to some garages I looked at in the city. Plus, who really wants to spend the time or hassle driving into the city? You can possibly find cheaper parking near other train stations in New Jersey, but the fare for the train will be higher; not to mention the longer train ride. It's all about doing your research before a trio ro find the best options. Their website is very helpful in calculating how much parking will cost.

Our last trip over the weekend, we got caught in a rainstorm and everything in my backpack got soaked; including our parking ticket. The ticket was still pretty damp whwn we got to the lot, but the attendant said it should be okay. The machine took the ticket fine, but got stuck coming back out after paying. The attendant was very helpful and made us a new ticket so we would be able to...

It is grotesque that New Jersey Transit handed over its parking lot to Edison ParkFast, which charges inarguably absurd prices — $30+ on weekdays, $32 if there happens to be an event going on somewhere — to park a vehicle at a train station that is owned and operated by the state and funded entirely by state and federal tax dollars. NJ Transit owns this land, it’s a state-run transit agency, not a privately owned company; Secaucus Junction is not a destination, it’s not a tourist attraction that people come to visit. Parking should be free and usage of public transportation should be encouraged. Instead, you’ll pay inflated New York City parking garage prices to park a car here in the middle of nowhere. This isn’t entirely on Edison — my guess is NJT leases this lot to Edison to operate for exorbitant prices, and the collective greed and corruption is passed along to train passengers who are already paying high ticket fares for terrible service I did not have a “bad experience” here and Edison’s customer service can’t help, unless they want to justify to residents why they’re charging $32 to park at a public train station Update, March 2025: they’ve now raised the price to park on weekends from $16 to $19

You pay for convenience! Monday and Friday rates are a little less ($28 last time we looked) than Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday ($30 a day). Saturday and Sunday are a bargain ($10) UNLESS there is an event at the Meadowlands - BE SURE TO CHECK (or take a photo like I did so you can check). For that $$$ price you get a relatively short walk to the station once you park. It can get busy so use their web site to make a reservation. There is a elevator to the station to your left as soon as you get to the station or two long escalators up if you walk straight ahead. BUT when you come home, you gotta walk down the stairs- no DOWN 2nd escalator. There are several ticket machines if you take the escalator BUT only one if you take the elevator.

Will not park here again. I picked this place for the convenience; since I didn't want to park/drive into NYC for my multi-day trip, and it is right next to the Secaucus Junction station. The parking process was easy, but upon returning to my car the other night, I discovered a huge crack in my windshield that wasn't there when I parked. Since it was late at night and dark, I didn't see it until I was merging onto the highway. After inquiring about their damage policy, I was informed I had to have reported it and filed a claim while I was still on the lot in-person since I was outside their customer service call center hours. I had a 9 hour drive ahead of me and it was too late to turn around. Now I need to spend hundreds to get it fixed.
