Kendall Furniture — Local services in Selbyville

Have ordered several times from Kendall Furniture. Last two orders the communication has been awful. Today it’s noon and I was told by Joe yesterday I would be first stop today. I called at 11:20 and was told that Joe told someone else they were first today. No one called to let me know….. then was told well we’re going to Bethany but might be able to come on the way. Just got a call they will be here in 30-45 minutes. Bed was suppose to be ready July 19. Got no communication it was in. I had to call again to ask if my items had arrived just like our previous order. Never got a two hour time frame text the night before like they said so I assumed we were first like Joe said yesterday. Very poor communication. If I had known all this I would have had it delivered Monday when I’m working from home. My family is here for the weekend and I’m missing quality time with them. Wish they had been honest and communicative so this could have been delivered Monday not wasting...

Very disappointed with the product and service from Kendall Furniture. We purchased 3 pieces of furniture in January, one of which was a sectional sleeper sofa. The sectional was delivered in July and was not a sleeper. As this furniture was for a rental property which was advertised as sleeping 8, we needed a sleeper sofa. When I called Kendall, they said they did have a sleeper sofa and matching love seat that they could deliver the following day. As we had no choice, we agreed to this. Initially, I was told that they would re-order the sectional and swap these out when it came in; then they told me that since it was for a rental property they could not agree to this. The sofa and loveseat we received are not the same color or style that we ordered originally. The leg color does not match the other two pieces, nor does the arm style. Would not recommend using this...

There’s a reason this place has almost a perfect 5 star rating. We were looking for some furniture for our pool deck- specifically a high top table and chairs. We looked around many other places and just didn’t find anything that we liked, was good quality or wasn’t ridiculously expensive. When we entered the store, we were greeted promptly. We saw 2 other employees as we were walking around and they both greeted us as well. We had a question about a particular table and when I asked one of the ladies who worked there, she was more than happy to help- never made us feel like a bother, even though she was clearly doing something else at the time. The furniture here is so beautiful. I wish I had found Kendall’s 3 years earlier, before I purchased other pieces for our home. We couldn’t have had a better experience and will definitely be back...
