La Michoacana — Restaurant in Selbyville

Our party of 6 adults and 9 kids ranging in age from 4 to 17 had an amazing lunch at La Michocana on the way home after our weekend camping trip on Assateague Island. It’s a very authentic experience, down to the ladies hand rolling the tortillas. Everyone enjoyed the food so much we ordered 3 rounds of food because the kids just kept eating! We had several types of tacos: chorizo, carne asada, chicken, pastor (marinated pork) and carnitas (pork). The favorites were carne asada and pastor. We also had the cheese and chicken empanadas, with the chicken being the winner. We will definitely return and try the other items...

Food was amazing! Portions are very generous. Lots of interesting and delicious meals. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I couldn't understand the menu on the boards because they were all in Spanish. The menu on the counter was only partially translated. I was still unsure what I was ordering for myself and my boyfriend was completely lost so I had to order for him too.
