Dollar General — Local services in Selma

This store has two lazy workers who don't greet or speak to you. One is on the floor putting up stock and will not move out of your way to get to the aisle that you need to get to. The other one is always on her phone when she's at the register and she will not give you your receipt or the $5 off $25 coupon. She keeps the coupon and balls your receipt up and either throws it away or put it in a plastic bag. This behavior and lack of customer service is unacceptable. The prices on the shelves are different and more once you get to the register. The excuse(lie) for this is that the items are in the wrong place. This is untrue. I know how to read and match UPC labels and I also have done merchandising for Dollar General stores before. Straighten this place up and hire...

Friendly staff. They do try to keep the store neat but they aren't always fully staffed. If they are putting out stock it can be difficult to maneuver around the rolltainers but staff is happy to aid you in getting to an item that may be blocked. I am in there often and have never seen anything other then smiles from staff. I always end up purchasing more...

This is a nice Dollar General, but people often are waiting in the parking lot to beg for money and food. I gave a few of them snack food and they acted like I was crazy and didn't even want the food. The security system is also annoying but at least...
