I badly wish I could give this place a good review, but after the experience we had, I can’t in good conscience suggest this restaurant to anyone. I am a business owner and my family and I have owned restaurants in the past, so I speak from both perspectives. We reserved a room for a surprise birthday dinner, and understandably gave a card to hold the reservation. All 15 of us showed and ordered appetizers, meals, and drinks. Some steaks came out way undercooked (ordered med well, came out rare) and the server made countless mistakes. All that could easily be forgotten about, however the owner instructed our server to add a $250.00 charge to the bill (see OTHER in the photo). Fortunately, the bill was reviewed & someone in our group caught this mystery charge. To make matters worse, gratuity was also calculated based on this OTHER line item, at a rate of 20%, bringing the total bogus charges to a whopping $300.00. We questioned the server on this charge, and she explained she had never been instructed to add this to a ticket before. We asked to speak with the owner, who is right in the next room mind you, and the owner completely refused to discuss this charge with us and instructed the server to just take it off the bill. My concern for others, who may be reading this review, is that you may not read your bill line for line and fall victim to bogus charges you should not be responsible to pay. With business, integrity is of the upmost importance when you lose trust for the owner of a restaurant, how can you ever justify going back? How can you encourage others to dine at a place that wants to rob their patrons? What are the steak is good or not is irrelevant, what matters most is whether the customer is appreciated and enjoying the dining experience. They should never have to look over their shoulder to see if they are being taken advantage of or played for a fool. Our party never received an apology, and let me say that a $250 hold placed on the card is one thing, but the restaurant should never charge you for showing up to your reservation and spending a substantial amount of money. Our party average approximately $75 per person, tell me, is there a need for greed when your establishment is doing those numbers? I just left. We called in a reservation at 5:30 she said she wrote our name down but didn't even ask us our name...that should of been the red flag. We get there they didn't put our name down, we couldn't even leave till 8:30. So waited over 45 minutes to be seated, then waited another hour to get our food. The salad was the same house salad you get in a bag at Walmart, the fried green tomatoes were paper thin and salty as hell so we're the fried pickles. Paper thin and way too salty. They forgot my daughters drink took 15 minutes to get that, then they bring my dad unsweet tea as well he was not happy. So they bring our food after we wait so long we ate all the crackers at the table. The steak was even SALTY as hell the crackers had less salt. Even my kids said the food was too salty to eat and they had kids meals. The baked potato was the best thing I ate because it didn't have ALL that Salt. I don't understand why they make you pay an extra 2.00 for bacon bits from a bag tho. Not even real bacon. The waitress almost hit me in the head with a plate while passing it across the table. Then she spilt water down my arm while passing the water across the table. When she greeted us she said "what do you want to drink?" Then we waited 15 more minutes to get our ticket at the end. What killed me was the crazy wait and the food being saltier than McDonald's French fries. Even the asparagus had the same salty flavor as the steak. They must of soaked these steaks in some Dales cause Holy Crap it was so salty. I do not recommend and the waitress automatically gets 20 percent tip too. If you want to spend the money go to Como steak house! I will not be back at Delta! This was my first and last time! Do NOT recommend. We spent over 200.00 for some overly salted dinner and waited a lifetime to get. We all said we should of went to Como. (Ur gonna leave this place with high...

Based on the recommendations of others, we decided to give Delta a try recently. It didn't disappoint!

The environment is clean and the decor tasteful, but it doesn't quite have "steakhouse vibes". If you sit in one of the half-circle booths, you're going to feel like you need a booster seat to comfortably eat your food. This was a little annoying but not a major issue.

Our steaks came out cooked perfectly and were delicious! The side salad was pretty small and was served on a saucer but was still good. The corn on the cob and garlic bread was excellent.

Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant, but only checked in a couple times after our order and didn't get our refills till we were almost finished with our steaks. To her credit, it was fairly busy and I think some of her other tables were in a different room.

All in all, we had a good experience with great food. Senatobia is fortunate to have a great...
