Rio Lindo Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Senatobia

Probably won’t be back for a long time... me and my boyfriend go every other week and get the same thing every time we go so we know how much the total will be and everything. Today we went and our total was 26 dollars when it’s usually 20 dollars the only thing different we got today was one large chicken cheese and rice and one small when we usually both get small but we wanted to take some home. So we expected it to be 22-23 dollars... not 26 . I went to the cashier to asked if she knew why I was being charged to much she had to go in the back to get our waitress (who wouldn’t even come talk to us and made the cashier handle us)who was saying we got a large cheese dip and not a small...when the bowl of cheese dip was still on the table when this was happening....the waitress made the cashier come to the table TWO time to make sure we didn’t have a large... check your receipts they are adding stuff that’s not supposed...

We were greeted immediately and sat in the dining room. We loved the design of the place with the water fountain in the middle of the room. Dimmed light and peaceful atmosphere while eating. The menu had a lot of selections to choose from. I ordered the Fiesta Enchiladas with a side of Rice and Black Beans and I highly recommend the black beans. My boyfriend ordered the grilled salmon and veggies and baked potato which he really enjoyed. The plates were filled and we ordered alcohol drinks. The bill was less than $45 for the two of us. The chips and salsa was delicious, I'm from Texas so it could've been a little more spicy🌶️🔥just a but throw a serrano pepper in there 💪🏾 haha clean bathroom and the waitress was attentive and nice. We were passing through headed to another job site, I'm glad we stopped in. We really enjoyed our food. Thank you...

We have been dining here for as many years as it has been open. Actually, it was the old Wonder Bread Store on Main St. The owner did extensive remodeling and created a nice authentic looking atmosphere with a beautiful fountain in the center of the front dining room. The owner and family work together to make provide the best dining experience. The food is wonderful. The service is friendly and prompt. We are a close family and when we want to spend a little time with each other weekly, bi-weekly we meet at Rio Lindo and have dinner together. They have tables in the back room that are sort of a conference size table to accommodate a larger group, which is where we sit with our growing family. We ALL love Rio Lindo, their service, the food, and the owner...
