I've always had good luck at Big 5 when it comes to scoring a deal. I was able to actually find my son a beginner fly fishing rod for only $40 and some change which was on sale. Finding something like that that actually works is exceedingly rare in the fly fishing world. And thankfully since it is $40, if my son screws up and destroys the thing, it won't sting as badly. Hopefully though, it stands the test of time. I was also able to get a pair of binoculars there for $60 and they were from Bushnell, so I was actually pretty happy about that. Hunting season is upon us and a good pair of glass to scope out your next meal is a must have item. And of course, there's the copious amounts of shoes that they have to offer in all sorts of sizes. Being that I have a kid, he is always going through shoes as fast as I buy them (for whatever the reason.) It is nice that Big 5 always tends to have some kind of sale for shoes that makes the life of a parent that much simpler. Last but not least, they offer a military discount to veterans and active duty military which that is very much appreciated. Having a thank you for your service at the checkout stand always warms my heart.

Large store. Well stocked with sports equipment ( tennis golf soccer fishing ...) and the clothes needed for some of these hobbies. Emphasis on Columbia clothes, HH, long johns, many socks and hand warmers. Employees are attentive and ready to take you to what u came for. GREAT prices on Coldpruf top and bottom thermals. Store is clean, but a bit crowded with soooo many sales items. Pleasant experience.

Staff was friendly. However this company does not price match. We came in to buy skate helmets, here they are 32.99, down the street at Walmart they are 24.99. So..... Walmart gets our business. RIP Big 5. Walmart prices attached.

Horrible experiance. My girlfriend went in today with her granddaughter to buy new shoes for work. She is one of the nicest and friendliest people you have ever met and everyone instantly loves her and gets along with her. She asked to use the restroom for her granddaughter and the girl working Tuesday May 5th around 3pm told her no not just because of the COVID situation but said it extremely rude and made her feel terrible. When she came home she was almost in tears. I've shopped at this store before and will never be returning ever. As far as I'm concerned that store no longer exists. Pretty bad having customer service so bad in a small town to run your bussiness. Every1 I know in this town will know how I feel about this store and will also not be shopping there again. The only thing they have is decent cheap shoes which you can get at any other retailer for same price with more color options. Fred meyer. Jcpenny really anywhere and all the rest is overpriced. Hope your establishment enjoys...

It is extremely inconvenient when the store is closed a half hour before closing time. Especially when you see it being locked up and ask the employe you see locking up when closing times are and their response is. “ the times change a lot. It’s on the door.” So I say “okay” and is he car to look at the door and it is listed that they are open until 7:30 yet have the store locked up and closed at 7:00. I feel like said employee responded the way he did because they were closing earlier than they are supposed to. I hope this doesn’t happen again. I can understand that there can be emergencies where it just happens, but it doesn’t seem like that’s...
