Country Coffee and Grub — Restaurant in Sequim

This would have been a 4-5star review. Food was really good. However, I have doubt in their ability to make changes and substituions. I ordered the poutine with what i believe to be a simple request of sausage gravy subbing the brown and no chives. I was given the regular poutine (brown gravy with chives. Upon noticing when i got home, i didnt wana drive out again so i called and was graciously offered a remake/credit. A month later, i cashed in on my remake. I re-explained how i wanted it. Sub the gravy, no chives. They had no problem fulfilling. However, again upon arriving at home and digging in, I noticed there were no cheese curds. I didnt wana call n sound like i was just tryna get free meals but im kinda upset cuz the curds are what makes it poutine lol. So, i ate my fries with gravy and it was good but not what i paid for and triple the trip for what i did pay for seems like i would be paying for another poutine that i prolly...

Food is a solid five stars but their coffee could be improved upon, every coffee we have ordered has been sub par so I’ll probably stick to the food, they could also wipe off their iPad they hand to customers as it’s always covered in grease but that’s just a small nitpick. Now for the good part, their burgers are absolutely exceptional every burger my friends and I have ordered has not disappointed (those include country western burger, mushroom Swiss, and the country bbq burger( I think that’s what it is called). I have also ordered their chili cheese fries and poutine. To. die. for. and one final thing their fries are always HOT which I love and they don’t skimp out.

Final verdict this place is an easy recommend with a burger that will leave you satisfied all day and some fries to top it off, just find out which drinks are to your taste and country coffee and grub will keep you coming...

I was pretty excited to try this place since it's pretty close to where I live, but unfortunately it was very disappointing and I don't plan on going back. The breakfast burrito was mediocre at best. It tasted pre made and then microwaved. The tortilla was gummy and wet and it was more egg then anything else, and it just falls apart as you try to eat it since the tortilla is so wet. The coffee was better then the food but still below average. I ordered a hazelnut latte with an extra shot of espresso. You can barely taste the coffee, it was more milk and hazelnut flavor then actually espresso. The girl who took my order was friendly, that's about the only good thing from my first experience here. Considering the amount of great coffee shops here in Sequim, Country Coffee definitely has alot to improve on if they want to...
