Staying at Applewood Manor was a Dream come true !! Our favorite part was the amazing enormous salt water pool, hot tub and incredible recreation area!! Wow!! That lower area with the warm heated pool, tv, hang out spot , hot tub, gorgeous wood deck, and padded floor so we didn’t slip was the answer to all our dreams. We all could be together and enjoy the time while everyone had many options to be entertained. There was no reason to leave the cabin because the pool area and family game area was so much fun. It was just what our family needed to be together and enjoy a special moment in time. The beds were super comfortable and everything was extraordinarily clean! Applewood cabin is the most magical fantastic place that made us feel right at home and even let us bring our puppy so our family vacation was complete !! The fireplace next to the big soaking tub in one of the downstairs bathrooms was so romantic. This cabin combines family getaway along with areas to have unique time alone for the grownups !! We ordered food delivery five times so we could all just stay in for a relaxing evening and it was easy because All the restaurants are so close. Dollywood is literally down the driveway and across the road!!!! Applewood Manor is the Number one cabin we have ever stayed in at the Smokies and we have been there 10 times!!! It has every utensil needed extra sheets and blankets, towels, soap,hand soap, dish detergent, washer and dryer, knives and all the kitchen requirements … we did not need to bring in anything but ourselves and be ready to have our minds blown in the pool area and relax in comfort!!!! Thank you for the most amazing time of our lives!!!!

Our family absolutely loved our cabin. We stayed at BIG SPLASH LODGE. We had 4 adults and 3 children. Our parents (2adults) stayed in the king bedroom on the main (1st) floor and we (2 adults and 1 toddler) stayed in the king bedroom on the top floor along with our 2 girls had their own separate bedrooms (1 queen bedroom and 1 twin bedroom with 2 beds). Everything was perfect from the location to the cabin to everything in the cabin. All of it was perfect and we will be staying in the exact cabin again next year. They definitely didn’t disappoint us at all.

It won’t let me add pics but the floor plan was amazing for our family. We enjoyed every single thing the cabin had to offer besides the fire pit but that was due to the rainy weather but the cabin has a indoor private pool along with a theater room and game room so the rain didn’t bother us or mess up our vacation at all.

The only thing I wish was different (but is out of their control) is I wish we could have stayed there longer.

My in-laws who stayed on the main floor king bedroom and are in their 60s said this was the best place they ever stayed and were beyond happy with it.

The only thing I wish they would change is that we could rent it for only 3 days cause we most definitely would rent it for our 3 day Christmas stay but hopefully we can find something as nice and accommodating for our Christmas stay.

We did sweep and clean up as much as possible and washed most of our towels and rags before we left because this is a big cabin and although we did leave a tip it’s still a lot of cleaning in just a few hours til the next person comes so we tried to help a little bit.

This was our first Airbnb rental and family of 10 vacation so it was greatly appreciated that Shaun was a gracious host and answered our questions quickly. The cabin is located in a great location off of the main street and not far from the activities in Pigeon Forge. It is in a beautiful mountain setting and you do not hear any traffic.

The cabin looked like the online pictures. When you entered, it smelled amazing and it was definitely clean, something that was very important. We definitely wanted to make sure we all had enough space and the layout fit our family perfectly with the lower level sleeping accommodations. It is beautifully decorated, just a few too many pillows in the bedrooms. The kitchen holds everything that you could even think that you would need or want if you plan on cooking. The secondary bathrooms are beautiful, just a little dark where ladies may want to bring their makeup mirror. Towels could be of a higher quality and another set of 10 would have been greatly appreciated. The hot tub was perfect and I’m glad we brought our own swimming towels after not having that second set of towels since I don’t do laundry on vacation. The only concern that we really had was that the driveway is painted which makes it very slippery when wet. My son and son-in-law escorted the ladies to their vehicles so no one would fall.
