United Supermarkets — Local services in Seymour

Came into store about half an hour before closing. Wasn't acknowledged at all, wasn't assisted with stuck baskets, employee too busy vacuuming and obviously leaving vs customer service was more important. Several other what appeared to be local customers came in after I did. Clincher was, I am considered handicapable due to the fact I require a stability device/quad cane from an old injury years back and am obviously an older person that struggled with carts right at the entrance and had to wait for the vacuuming employee to clean the rug before I could enter the store. Store appeared well appointed but what has happened to common courtesy here. I was passing through town on my way home and was shopping before I proceeded home. This grocery store is honestly the most welcoming store I've been to in a while! The place is clean, the people are friendly and helpful!! They also place 3 baskets full of fruit at the beginning isle so that your kids can pick a fruit to snack on while you shop. That alone says a lot! They also take your groceries to your car for you 💯👍 in the town I live in they do not do this. My husband and I were shocked at first and didn't know what to say lol.

EDIT 7/27/2025: ITS OUT AGAIN. The fact that the water machine has been inoperable for about two months now is RIDICULOUS. Full stop. I'm paying over half of what it cost to refill a five gallon jug, for ONE gallon of water. Idk if they're trying to push their own water sales or what, but when you don't maintain the only refill station in town it sure seems that way to me. It's beyond massively inconvenient. And the amount of waste we are producing is just as bad as the money lost purchasing single...
