My wife and I each bought a pair of shoes here a couple of days ago. It was the best shopping experience I can remember in the past 20 years. I'm not exaggerating. I was blown away by the level of attentiveness of the staff, how knowledgeable and thorough they were and how hard they worked to please the many customers in the store.
I was particularly amazed at how many wide shoes they had in stock. I wear a 10-1/2 EE. My whole life I've had a tough time finding shoes that would fit. Pretty much every shoe store I've gone to would only have one or two pairs in my size and rarely something that would fit me right. This place had around a dozen. In stock! Once I told them exactly what I was looking for, within two minutes they had a pair of shoes in front of me which fit like a glove. I was amazed. I had been shopping for a shoe like this (in stores and online) for over two years! This is definitely my go-to shoe store from now on. Highly...
Read moreI bought a pair of Carolina work boots from here exactly a month ago. I was looking for redwings but they had very little selection and i was desperate as my old pair was falling apart The lady who helped was very nice, but I had asked her for a nice pair of soft toe waterproof work boots and asked her what she recommended. She brought me a pair of carolina loggers and they were comfortable so I pulled the trigger and left. After I had worn them for a few hours I realized they were steel toe. Oh well, a little safety in my line of work can't hurt I figured. Today, I was working in light rain for a few hours and about 10 minutes in I could feel water pooling around my feet. By noon I had dumped water out a couple times and had to wear wet boots for the rest of the day. $150 down the drain as I need a pair of boots that will actually keep my feet dry. Do not trust the employees to actually know what they're selling here...
Read moreNo wheelchair access to second floor. Cashier mainly paid attention to my adult daughter who had a broken foot by asking her questions about her foot. He offered to carry her box of shoes she said she was fine but he insisted. She has one arm free because she had only one crutch. Meanwhile I'm standing there with two boxes and my bag waiting so we could cash out. I started looking around and put my boxes on the counter and walked around while they were talking. My daughter called to me because they were finally at the counter. I went over and my boxes were put on the other side and he was cashing my daughter out. Then cashed me out. He offered to carry my daughter's out but not mine. Which we both thought was very rude. Prices r lower in the basement but much higher on...
