If I could give Piera's zero stars I would. PLEASE READ BEFORE WORKING WITH THEM. Ok, so let me start off by saying that I had a large bridal party, and a month and a half before my wedding one of my best friends dropped out of the party. It was super hard for me because we have been friends for such a long time. However, I had become really close with a girl that I worked with so I was happy when she agreed to be in the wedding just 6 weeks before the big day. Since we had already purchased the bridesmaid dresses, we thought we could possibly move the dresses around to accommodate the new addition to the party. However that didn't work, so we were left having to express ship the last bridesmaid dress for the new addition to the party. We did not get the bridesmaid dresses from Piera's however my mom and mother in law went there to purchase their gowns for the wedding, so I was familiar with the shop. I was in there getting my mom's dress with her when I explained my situation (the fact that we had to express ship the dress) and Jill (who was really great) assured us that they could express ship the dress if need be. Once we decided to go this route, my new bridesmaid called to order the dress (keep in mind we are now in the first week of august, 4 weeks from the wedding). She spoke with Piera, and Piera advised that the dress would be in 3 days before the wedding (which was fine because she didnt need alterations) and that we were all set. My mom and I went into the shop 2 days after my bridesmaid called to place the order, and we figured we would check on the dress, just to make sure everything was done. Piera was in the shop and advised that the bridesmaid needed to call back to confirm that we could order the dress and that they hadn't placed the order. I was extremely irritated because this didnt make sense, however I just had my friend call again to confirm the order. She did and again we were assured everything was fine. Fast forward to the week of my wedding. My bridesmaid called to confirm that the dress would be in and at that point the person on the phone advised that they could see the purchase order, however the tracking information was not on the order and that she needed to call us back. A few minutes later Piera called us and let us know that they never ordered the dress. Like I said, this is Tuesday, my wedding is that Saturday. Not only did Piera let us know they never ordered it, she was insistent that they tried to "call us" but they never left us a voicemail. It was an absolute nightmare. No one apologized, they put the blame on us saying we never confirmed the order and they ran out of time. Pieras aunt who works there as well even said "What did you want us to do? Come to your house and let you know? You never answered your phone." It was so terrible. And to top it off, they CHARGED my friend for the dress. Over $300.00. Which again, didnt make sense if they never placed the order. If someone would have just taken responsibility and apologized and just said what can we do to help we made a mistake, it would have been so much better. Instead they yelled at us, saying it was our fault why would we add a dress this late blah blah blah. Not only did I lose a friend, I had these women who had no idea of the situation just throw it back in my face. Absolutely horrible customer service, I urge you to think twice before allowing them to be a part of your big day, because they might end...
   Read moreWhen I first went to Piera's all the staff seemed really nice. They were so helpful in trying to come up with a dress that I loved. I finally found two dresses that I liked bits and pieces from, and they told me they could order one dress and order the appliques from another dress and combine them to make a custom dress. They were so willing to work with to get what I wanted! Because of the customer service, we decided to order the flower girl dress and the bridesmaid dresses from there as well (even though they didn't even carry the bridesmaids dresses in the store...just the designer.) Then it all went downhill. As soon as they got our money, it was horrible! Every single thing we ordered came in wrong!! Two weeks after we ordered the flower girl dress, they called and said we couldn't order it any more and had to come pick out a new one. Then, when my wedding dress came in, it came in a size smaller than we ordered so it didn't fit....then they blamed me for gaining weight (which I didn't). They said the best they could do was order a dress 3 sizes too big and take it it, but it would only get there a month before my wedding. So that's what we did. In the meantime, the bridesmaid dresses came in...wrong! We order them all in short length, and then ordered extra fabric to use for the flower girl. They all came in long, and then they accused us of telling them we wanted long and have them cut it....why would we have ordered extra fabric then??? Finally, my way-to-big wedding dress came in, and I had my first fitting. Two weeks later I came back to have them put the appliques on that we ordered at the beginning. (This was May 1 and my wedding was May 24. ) They pulled out the appliques, and there was only 6 small ones. These were supposed to cover most of the front and back of the dress. They only ordered 6! We asked where the rest were and they said this was it. Then they blamed us saying we should have known they didn't order more based on the price we paid. They also said I told them I wanted a corset back, even though it said right on my form "NO CORSET". Then they blamed me again for the bridesmaid dresses coming in long. They told us they MIGHT be able to get more of the appliques in time but they had to contact China (only by email because apparently there are no phones in China according to them). We waited another week and they still had no answers. My wedding is in two weeks by this time. We ended up picking up the dress from the store and finding another seamstress (spending $700 more) to get my dress how I wanted. The customer service in that store was horrible, they take your money and then don't care, and then they will never NEVER take the blame for any of their mistakes. And they had way too many mistakes . Don't go here! Spend your money where people actually care about...
   Read moreI’ve driven past this place a million times over the past 10 years and always thought it had beautiful dresses in the windows and thought when my time came for me to get married that would be the place I got my dress from. From the moment I walked into the door for my appointment I’ve never felt so unwelcome, the lady knew I had gone to another bridal place first, she was so condescending I couldn’t believe it was real, when I gave her my budget of $1000.00 (when calling they said their dresses start at $800 and up) and told her we could even go a little higher her response I’m sorry that’s all you wanna spend?! So do you know what your looking for you must if you’ve gone somewhere else, I gave her a few ideas but also let her know I’m open to other styles. Every dress I chose she made a weird or negative comment about and on top of it there is ABSOLUTELY NO ROOM TO WALK in that place, no privacy, when you try on your dress you have to walk to the front of the store in front of everyone else and wait for your turn to get up to the mirror and there is no help or customer service with the dress when you get up there. It felt like a factory, I did not have one decent person I could say I came across the entire 30+ min I was in that shop because that’s the amount of time i could tolerate before I finally said I’m sorry I’m gunna go talk to my family before I try on another one because they couldn’t come back with me. The lady also made a comment about my sister having a mouth on her because she seen me in a dress she knew I didn’t like on and said out loud I don’t love this one on you and as soon as we got back to our room is when she said that. As soon as I left I immediately called the first place I went (same price range as pieras) and bought the dress I knew I would love and thanked the other place for being amazing and let them know their customer service is perfect. I had also made a stop at a discount bridal store in between (didn’t find anything for me) but I can even say they had better service than this “high end” bridal shop.
