Little Caesars Pizza — Restaurant in Shelby Charter Township

Their website says they close at 9pm along with the sign on their front door. I pull in at 8:40pm walk in (nobody greets me) some guy from the back who im assuming is the manager says “we are done serving pizza for the night”, i asked if theyre closed and he just gave me a blank look because obviously he knew it was only 8:40 and they close at 9pm, then responded “we are not making anymore pizza for the night” . I thought he was kidding at first but apparently this job was too overwhelming for him and his staff. I used to work at little caesars when i was 16 and we were open until 10pm, if a customer walked in at 9:59 and wanted 3 pizzas, we were going to make the 3 pizzas for the customer since they were in the store before the time of closing. This is a prime example of super poor management and im sure the owner would love to know his employees simply turned away money by closing their store 20 minutes earlier than theyre supposed to. I Took my business 2 miles down the road to the store at 21 and romeo plank and got 4 hot and readys without any issues or questions. Used the pizza portal tonight. It is easy to use and quick. I wanted a cheese pizza along with the regular pepperoni and the app made it easy enough to order, pay and pick up. I was waiting at Meijer so the pizza was ready a few minutes after I got there. Absolutely delicious. Lots of cheese and a thick fluffy crust. This location has been on point lately with their pizza. Normally we don't have any issues with this location but today was horrible. There was almost an hour wait. Okay no big deal, they had some big orders for like 30 pizza's. Unfortunately upon getting my order it was almost inedible. Ordered pretzel crust pizza, my favorite, and it was so salty I could barely eat it. The salt belongs on the outer crust ring but this pizza had salt EVERYWHERE. Food: 3/5 pizza was bad but bread was good. Service 2/5 Greeted every customer who entered except me.
