My son and I stopped here not being familiar with the area as our GPS took us here looking for paint. The gentleman I’m assuming is who everyone is referring to as “Chopper” was welcoming and full of good spirit! At first we were confused because there was a small lit up sign and he was standing outside. It was dark inside. We did go inside as he greeted us and talked about the beautiful weather but he wasn’t able to get us the paint we needed no big deal. I was a little thrown off with no electric on. I wasn’t sure if they legit didn’t have electric or if they’re trying to save energy….and at the same time saddened by the thought of how this town seems to be in such poverty. The store had so much stuff in it including soccer balls! Pretty cool! We know where to go if we need random odds and ends supplies. Support small local businesses. I’m sure this store was once and still could be an essential part...
