Sweet's Septic Tank & Backhoe Service Inc — Local services in Shoshone

My experience with Sweet's has been incredibly negative. From reading other reviews, it seems that my experience is likely due to specific employees and is not representative of the entire company. That being said, the work in total took seven and a half weeks to finish, though the work was left unfinished and Sweet's failed to continue showing up to complete the agreed upon work. The employees assigned to this project were unreliable with regard to showing up, as they would often state that they would arrive on specific days to complete work, then not show up and not contact us about the absence. This was very common throughout the entire time working with this company.

The employees presented themselves as unprofessional in their work by dumping excess wet concrete into flower beds instead of using proper waste disposal methods. They also left large piles of dirt and debris in both the front and back yards before they stopped showing up to work. The unprofessional behavior also extended to customer interaction, with an employee arriving in pajamas and slippers nearly three months following their disappearance, to deliver a bill. In that interaction they accused a resident of the home of lying about the location of the homeowner.

Multiple calls were made to the head office due to the lack of communication and attendance by the employees. Eventually, the owner contacted us and stated that they would personally show up to examine the problem. Due to weather problems, they were unable to accomplish this but did assure us that the problem of employee attendance would be taken care of. It was not. My septic tank backed up and I ended up with water in my basement and in my bathroom. I called Sweets Septic at about 9:00 in the morning and they had a truck at my house by 12:30 in the afternoon. The driver/Operator was professional, quick to find the problem and found the lid to my septic tank in minutes. He did an excellent job getting my old septic tank clean, even though it was 1/2 filled with hard to break up solids. I requested a schedule for a Friday they show up on Thursday and they pump the wrong septic tank and they charge me for 2 tanks when 1 tank was only water on it that has a pump to send to my field. I call several times after 45 days they owner call me saying that it needed to be clean as well when I didn't requested that. and he said there was grease on the tanks. that is a lie because I make sure when we cook all grease goes to a container we have in the kitchen to be sure I don't get lines plug up or toiliet paper as well. but I pay what they ask without rude. but will never used them again even if I have...
