I went to Cinema 5 in Sioux Center today. There were 4 workers or 2 of them were friends of their? I don't know 2 of them were doing nothing. Usually the theatre posts the time of the movie near to the doors when there are more 2 rooms are showing the same movie. This time there weren't. There was no guide at all to go to the correct room. I only saw 3D for tonight so I thought they were showing only one room because I didn't know there was another room that was showing there too. When we entered it was already started so we thought we came a bit late. When the movie ended around 9:50pm, there was no way it ended around that time for the movie that is 3-hour movie and started at 8:30pm. When we came out, we found there was another room that was showing the same movie. There were 4 people standing there and there were no customers except us, but no one corrected us heading to the wrong theatre? At least if there were signs as usual, we could've noticed that we were heading to the wrong direction even though they did not correct us. They did not even mention which number of the theatre we were supposed to go to. We entered the one that we saw, and of course, it was the wrong one. How does the customer know since it is his first time seeing the movie and knowing that it begins like that or in the middle of the movie? They were just standing there and wasted our money and watched only half of the movie. What were they doing 4 people standing and not doing their job? After the movie, when I went to the counter to complain, they were saying "oh, we didn't know which movie you are going to..." Is that make sense? Purchasing the tickets right in front of them but didn't know what movie we were heading to watch? What kind of nonsense are they playing? There is my fault too that I didn't check the ticket because I went to that theatre a lot of times and I trusted them because they usually do their job really well. But this time I am seriously disappointed. Questioning what the workers do when the owner of the theatre is not there. 4 people standing. Not watching their customers. It seems like "after purchasing the ticket, it is none of my business" and say "oh, I didn't know what movie you are going to" even after purchasing the ticket right in front of their faces. Can they even understand how frustrating it is for the movie-lover watching a long waited movie with lots of expectation but watching only a half of the movie? And expecting us to come back to watch again because we did not watched the first half of the movie. Please let me know if it does...
Read moreI went to see "How to Train Your Dragon," on June 28, 2025. The movie itself is AMAZING, and the concessions are not too shabby. The only downside is, throughout the whole movie, there was this family of, I think, Mexican/Hispanic descent that just kept running up and down the steps, running into and out of the theater, and just being a major distraction, and the staff did absolutely NOTHING ABOUT IT. This is not the first time this has happened at this particular theater either. Stuff like this NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. If anybody who is in charge of that theater is seeing this review, DO NOT JUST SAY YOU'LL TAKE CARE OF IT, ACTUALLY...

What a joke, one cup in the corner and they said they were out, the first night of showing the movie and theyâre out?(even before the movie started and the theater was empty) And when we asked if there was a chance they would order more we couldnât get a direct answer, very rude, Iâve been coming here since I was little and Iâm very disappointed on how downhill the theater is going, might have to make a change...
