No diss to the owners but it’s just not a good place to eat. It’s very over priced with not a lot of food in return, and I thought the food lacked a lot of flavor. To get chips and salsa costs $3.5 and I’m fairly certain they add their own tip % at the end when you checkout. This chicken burrito and a drink was over $13

This place is for you. Not fancy but hot damn absolutely authentic and delicious! The service was fantastic as well. If you like authentic and fresh Mexican food go here. What are you waiting for? Get going!

One of the Best Tortas i have had the meat is well season. The toasted bread bring this mouth watering samdwich together for me. Always fresh and moist.

Brother and I stopped for what we thought was going to be a savory authentic meal. Both ordered the carne asada combination which is listed on their menu at $12. Total was $33 and some change like wait what?? We’d paid $40 (including tip) while the “food” was being prepared. We’d came to terms realizing we’d been charged an additional amount for no apparent reason. We decided not to question them, for the sake of the food..(only some will understand that logic) I did read some reviews when going to leave this one and others stated they do add their own gratuities?! Which isn’t specified whatsoever...so unless you q the total after adding it up you’d never know. So shady. The total should’ve been around $25/26...including the change from $40 that was left that was a whopping $15 in tips!?!! The very least they could’ve done is prepare decent quality food, didn’t even meet the minimum standard. Also we waited thirty mins for the order with no heads up. All that being said, as long as the meal was good that’s what mattered. Waste of food, time and money. By far the worse we’ve experienced yet. Rice was mushy didn’t even taste right, what should’ve been carne asada for the tacos was one whole slab of 80% fatty meat instead of cut up, that’s the only way we’ve had carne tacos prepared, though if that’s how they prepare theirs it should be mentioned to the guests. The couple bites didn’t taste fresh at all and no salad was included for either combination. Also we chose corn tortillas and received flour instead. We couldn’t even eat the tortilla by itself just to hold our tummies down on the road till making it home... one of the most displeasing experiences..everything was distasteful/off... I wouldn’t eat that for free better yet wouldn’t even feed pigs that. Save yourself the bucks folks, I highly do NOT...

I just moved out of the area and frequented this restaurant since shortly after it was established as "the taco truck"... I miss it badly, the best food in town, and I've rarely had Mexican that rivals it. The lady that runs this place is so sweet. The first time i ever came to this restaurant, I didn't realize they were cash only (they takes cards now so don't worry) and she told me not to worry about it and pay her next time. I refused and went to the ATM and came back, but this sort of hospitality is unusual... these people are passionate about using their skills and aren't doing it for the money. I wish them...
