Brenneman's Meat Market — Local services in Smithfield Township

This is an iconic business of Huntingdon. Very nice selection of meat and related items at a surprisingly reasonable price. This is the go to place for locally sourced meat products. Family owned and operated for over 70 years, the friendly and helpful staff can't be beat.

The interior is a bit small and cramped. The building is mostly concrete, hence not the nicest looking. The only issue I've ever really had was the smell, which I assume is from the cleaning process. It's not exactly bad, but noticeable.

I highly recommend checking out this local business. It may be small and out of the way, that's part of the charm...

I had a very bad experience with the lady owner. I went to order some meat I told the manager to cut the meat in slices meaning steaks when I went to pick up the meat nothing was sliced the she tells me that I didn't want it cut does this means that I have to have a contract in writing even though I asked her to cut the meat after I paid for it she said that was impossible she didn't cut . One star...
