Ruined 3 brand new work related large posters. Don't laminate there. Copies are fine. Posters have to be reshipped with additional charges to replace. They said we can't help you now, we send out an email and let you know what corporate says. These posters were for business meeting this week. They tried to print out and laminate from a file on line at half the size of my original posters and the laminate machine rippled those as well. To replace the new material I brought into staples will cost me more than I had originally paid because site price is higher and there will be additional shipping costs. Lastly all 3 posters went through without anyone noticing the first one came out damaged. So all 3 damaged and un- repairable. So now I have small blurry wavy and large version of wrinkled, creased and bubbled posters for an important presentation to investors. I actually called ahead of time to make sure they could laminate gloss posters they said yes at staples Smithfield ri. So now I wait to see what they say via email.......
Read moreAn extremely disappointing customer service experience this morning. The young lady working the morning shift in the print department was rude and dismissive to all the customers either picking/printing and returning Amazon packages. Granted it is understaffed and can be overwhelming, but it is unforgivable to speak to a senior citizen the way you did.
An elderly gentleman tried to send a document online to be printed. He sent the file, but not the order. The Staples employee was sarcastic and snarky when explaining the mishap. All he wanted was a little help. While his order was taken, your response was mean and degrading, making him feel like an inconvenience.
While all of this was going on, the returns line is 6-7 deep. Her rude response to the crowd was “The rest of you will just have to wait.” A couple of minutes later two other employees came over, pleasantly picking up the slack.
Staples…please take this young lady off your front line and give her some training- sensitivity training and customer...
Read moreThis review is for computer repair offered at their tech counter. I brought an older Dell desktop tower in to have a new hard drive installed and it has been a disaster. First they spent over one hour assessing the problem which I already told them was a failed hard drive. Then they tried to sell me a 4 Tb drive which was way too powerful for that old machine. The fan and motherboard wouldn’t support it. I finally got them to install a 1 tb drive as requested, paid for the drive and the installation and was told it would be like a brand new computer with Windows 11 on it and take 4 days. 5 days later I hadn’t heard and called, was told it would be one more day. Didn’t hear from them and called two days later and now was told they needed to charge me an extra $100 for a windows key number. Told them no more delays or unexpected charges, I will pick it up. Still waiting for them to call to say it’s back together and I can pick it up. Going on 10 days all...
