My experience with this place was terrible! I was reminded to write a review because someone asked about a florist and I referred them to someone else instead of this location. I got married in Dec 2022 and had to switch to another florist due to issues with Phillip. I originally was working with Pablo and he was great!!! Pablo wrote everything down on what was recommended, my ideas/requests, along with suggestions. I provided the info to my wedding designer and we set up a date to go back. We spoke with Pablo and everything was great! A few days later it was advised by Phillip by phone to come back in store to finalize things. It was weird bc I thght everything was good. We set a date and all but then the owner (lady named Cara or Tara) called a day later being short, rude and pressing that I come in that day or the next to make a payment. I informed I would rather discuss/finalize things in person as Phil had already called and spoke with me and I just ddnt want to make a payment until I knew everything was good. I went in that week as planned and Phil changed everything!! I was under the impression he was adding things and I had suggested several times that we wait for my designer but he was adamant about just making final decisions because time was of essence. When my wedding designer reviewed the final quote the price had gone up and everything was COMPLETELY different. Everything! Flowers and all! I emailed and called and discussed with Phil the next day and he became aggravated/upset. Why are you upset when you can just resolve by fixing it? At first he told me he could not change anything bc I was under contract like I was stupid when I had not even paid and had NOT signed anything. I feel like he really tried to get over by making me just go along with everything and just pay rather than taking accountability for the entire situation and getting it right. I personally felt like he did not want to allow Pablo to have any credit for his expertise with my order. Phil talked about the owner and how pple always thinks he is the owner which is probably why he couldnt focus on my order. He seemed like he was gonna be the bomb but then he turned into an emotional wreck. I had my wedding designer speak to him and he mentioned how he ddnt want to work with me when all I wanted was to have them put things back to the original before I made a payment. I NEVER cursed Phil etc. and he was a mess. Also, told my wedding designer he cancelled the order/quote and that he would only work with her which is crazy because I'm the one paying! Phil was a complete liar. He told me originally he couldnt cancel it. Why would I pay someone that does not want to work with me but I'm using my money and it was his fault. Please work on your professionalism and focus on the client. I am in sales and customer service and this flower shop could have handled my concerns alot better. Well, that is if you want continued business and referrals from your customers. You NEVER know who people know. Pablo keep up the great work and beware bc you got haters. It was okay though because I found someone else the same day, they were able to accommodate my requests, understood what I wanted and my wedding turned out beautiful!!! I paid a tad more but everything happens...

For the past three years I have purchased anniversary flowers for my wife from Village Green. The first two years they did a wonderful job with the bouquet (~$60). The store employees and owner were always very nice and accommodating, and we made sure to document in their system what went into the bouquet.

This year, I ordered the bouquet on a Thursday and prepaid for Saturday pickup. The general theme is soft and pillowy, with white roses and grays. As usual, we spent time on the phone where I explained the same to make sure their notes still reflected the appropriate design. When I arrived on Saturday to pickup, the bouquet was peach roses. I laughed and told him he grabbed the wrong bouquet. He checked and confirmed that was what they had made.... I explained it looked nothing like the prior 2 years or what I had ordered, he scrambled and found 4 white roses to at least bring some white to the arrangement, but it still remained primarily peach.

I left with the bouquet, knowing very well I couldn't not give my wife flowers. Plus, maybe they had a better sense of what my wife may like. I drove straight home and put them in water. When my wife got home, the look on her face was that confused and disappointed look. The next day we walked downstairs and the flowers were wilting (picture attached), and by the 2nd day my wife had thrown them out.....

Listen, mistakes happen and nobody is perfect, but nobody ever made the issue right! Customer service is one of the most important things, and Village Green simply does not have anything more than courteousness. I called the day after and told the same guy how the bouquet did not meet our needs as already expressed. I later called the shop and made sure I left a pleasant VM for the answering machine so I could leave a message for the owner, in case the employee did not disclose to the owner.

In the end, I never received a call, message, note or gesture from Village Green. You have lost a loyal customer due to poor customer service...

I wanted to come back on here to let EVERYONE know that I was able to speak to the people at Village Green Flowers & Gifts about my dissatisfaction with their flowers, and they MORE THAN made up for it by replacing my flowers with THE MOST GORGEOUS FLOWER arrangement that I have ever received!!! They were delivered to me JUST in time to welcome my new baby girl at the hospital and I couldn't have been MORE PLEASED. All the nurses were in a tizzy when they came to my room, and we received lots of compliments on them. OUTSTANDING customer service, communication, and delivery. Thank you Village Green & Gifts for the flowers and for great service!

Initial Review (ISSUE has been RESOLVED) In the past I have received lovely flowers from this establishment. But I have to say that the arrangement I received this past Mother's Day from my husband was DISAPPOINTING. He ordered a white hydrangeas and peonies arrangement, which would have been GORGEOUS if the peonies were not BROWN. They were not even in bloom and they were already brown on arrival, and the next day (even though they were opening they were STILL brown). Very unacceptable for the price that was paid in my opinion. I have never had this happen before, whether they came from a high end florist, or even from Publix or Trader Joes. The picture attached is of course a few days later. But I can assure you that they were delivered...
