My favorite coffee shop, great flavors. My issue is, I came in on 8/31 around 730-8p for a frapp. I asked for an extra shot and before she even tried to make it happen, she said it will be watery. I said can you add extra ice, she said that wouldn't matter. I order this regularly and know that it can be done. I understand that she probably had a long day, but I needed her to do her job and try to make it the way I asked. I worked in coffee for 10 years. Different shops back home in Cali and I never declined a customer their request because it might be too watery. I am going to make sure I know how to make the drink requested to standard, while making sure the changes are ok for customer. She could have just said we may have to do less milk. I would have been totally fine with that, but she didn't try.
I really needed that shot after being at the hospital for 2 days with a friend and then needing to study. That extra shot would have made all the difference. I will still come here, because I love them. It may be a while before I go back. I have a genuine love of great customer service, and I understand that baristas are people and have things going on just as we do, but when I would go into work that went out the window and my focus was on changing my customers day for the duration of my shift, I did not matter. I finally just told her just give it to me the regular way and waited. I should have just left, but I really needed the caffeine. Please do better, because you don't know what someone is going through and if I had a lack of self control I would have seriously lost it. We come in there to decompress and experience the wonderful baristas...
Read moreI was very disappointed with my visit here. I needed to get some work done and had heard great things about this place. When I arrived, it was very crowded. I tried to order a coffee, but could not figure out where the line was because there were a bunch of people standing in a huddle near the front. There was no clear understanding of who was next. I ordered a blueberry spice and a bagel with cream cheese. I was told they did not have any bagels. So, I got a quiche instead. It was ok, but not great. A piece of crust was placed on top instead of the quiche being cooked with it. The blueberry spice was soo bitter. It tasted like burnt espresso. I tried to sip it, but it was so gross that I threw it away. I ordered another drink instead. It was better, but still tasted burnt. I then tried to connect to the internet to get work done and could not get on. It finally allowed me on, but kept kicking me off every 10 minutes or so and I was continually having to reconnect. I ended up leaving since my whole purpose was to try and get work done and I couldn't even do that. I was very bummed as between the two large coffees I threw away and the quiche, I spent $20 and ended up having to go elsewhere to get work done. It was horrible experience and I will not...
Read moreThis place is amazing. From the atmosphere to the drinks, food and diverse crowds that wander in. We decided to grab breakfast here before heading to rock climb. The coffees were delicious! (I had mine and tasted his as well) The flavor of the coffee actually comes through and it's not masked by X # of pumps of sugar. I enjoyed this caramel coffee frappe more than your usual chains. The food...all of the pastries looked delicious but we were in the mood for something more hearty. I will say This, the place smelled divine! Like fresh roasted coffee and pastries. The sandwiches had great flavor and were the perfect size, not over stuffed and not tiny either. The Cuban had a great tang from the mustard and pickles, the bread was nice and crusty/crunchy. His turkey pesto sandwich also had good tang with the balsamic dressing drizzled in it. And for more crunch a d flavor those very addicting Voodoo chips! Overall this place is wonderful, plenty of seating for singles, couples, and groups of friends/family. Not to mention.... it's a good Pokemon stop!!! You're welcome 😉 I'll be here again...and...
