Freshway Market — Local services in Social Circle

We broke down in the parking lot of this Freshway Market Easter weekend. We ended up sitting on the bench outside for almost four hours waiting for our truck to be repaired. I was blown away by the kindness of the employees and patrons. The employees came out often to check on us, ask if we wanted to sit inside in the A/C, and even brought a slice of watermelon for the kids. So many customers came over to see if we needed them to go get their husband, brother, neighbor, etc to look at the truck. Others went out to the truck to try to assist. Nice little store! I am thrilled to have a clean and well stock store right in my backyard. The markup on certain products is absurd, but the meat prices are fair. HOWEVER, expect the meat to go sideways several days before the "use by", so either consume or prep and freeze 3 to 4 days before the use by date.

Someone tried to give me some song and dance about the blood on the packaging going bad, but at my age, I know spoiled meat when I see it and smell it.

Hello ,I really like shopping at family dollar in social circle,monroe an madison,ga. But the security of the employees isn't that great, the cashiers have to do 2 to 3 person jobs,putting up products ,pricing,run the register an ve nice to shoppers under a stressful job,we need these stores and the employees need protection and a safe environment. Please make sure u have the same amount of people on every shift.may God bless the ones that really care for their...
