Waffle House — Restaurant in Social Circle

Normally outstanding service at this location. We had a late dinner last night after doing yard and pasture work all day. The server was very distracted, and the only thing correct on our order was my wife's eggs! My wife ordered a cheese and egg plate with scattered hashbrowns, extra crispy, raisin toast, and decaf coffee. I ordered the Allstar Breakfast with hashbrowns (SSC) double, a plain waffle, and the eggs over easy. My wife got my eggs, sunny side up, with a double order of hashbrowns (not extra crispy) and plain toast. I got my wife's scrambled eggs, with plain toast, a single order of plain hashbrowns. Our meals arrived before our drinks. Pointing out the errors to the server, we had to move the items to the correct plates and finally get the server to have the extra crispy hashbrowns made. I ate the eggs sunny side up and the plain double hashbrowns as the server did not seem to understand those errors and attempt to correct them. I assumed it would take an act of God to get the waffle, drink refills, and the extra toast I made with my order. Evetually, the toast showed up after I ate my eggs and still no waffle. As we were preparing to leave, she asked, while taking an order at the tabl we next to us if I was ready for my waffle. We stayed a little longer to get the waffle. Another server checked us out and gave wonderful service, and adjusted off the missing items. She also advised us that the ticket was calculated too high and corrected the overcharge! We will return to our WH, but we will not be served by that...

Dear Waffle House Corporate,

I must admit, this was the absolute worst experience I've had at any Waffle House. My spouse and I visited on Saturday at around 1:30 PM. Despite there being more than six waitresses on staff and only three other customers in the restaurant, we waited over 20 minutes without anyone acknowledging us or taking our order.

There was one African American waitress by the name of Shinki who, based on the reactions of the staff, seemed to be assigned to our table who completely ignored us. She spent her time cleaning tables near us without speaking to or assisting us. When I finally asked who our server was, all the staff looked at her. She glanced at us and casually asked, "What do you need?" This response felt unprofessional and dismissive.

As an African-American myself, along with my spouse, we were especially shocked by her rude and disrespectful behavior. It was a deeply disappointing experience, and I cannot understand why we were treated this way.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone from corporate could reach out to me regarding this matter.

Went there at 1am with 6 people. When we got there it was 3 workers 2 waitresses and a cook. We were the only ones there everyone was sitting around doing nothing. Every table was covered in food a dirty dishes we had to move some to sit down. After waiting several minutes for a waitress to approach us we gave our order. We got our food a good 20 minutes later as the other employees did nothing. In this 20 minutes we had no drink. After we got our food we then asked for our drinks which were forgotten. Had to walk up and get our own condiments because waitress was slow and unreliable. After we finished our drinks in short order we then didn’t get any re fills for the next 15 minutes and had to walk up to the counter and ask across the barrier for a refill. This location has the worst night crew ever besides a cook named Dorian. Please don’t go here during night until management...
