Absolutely the best local comic shop I’ve ever shopped at. I’ve collected for almost 30 yrs. I happened to be perusing reviews of the store today and felt the need to edit my review. I came across a fair amount of reviews referring to better prices online. I found this discouraging. 1st, off they go out of their way to beat EBay prices. 2nd, they obviously can’t match prices of billion dollar retail outlets. 3rd, I don’t understand the blatant disregard of supporting a local business. The customer service they provide, alone, makes up for any marginal difference in price. They live, work and pay taxes in our community. When was the last time anyone one of these reviewers walked into EBay or Amazon and was greeted with a hello and a smile? Have they ever went out of their way to notify you of items you may be interested in? Do they know you on a personal level and bend over backwards to keep your business? The short answer is no but Jim, Jason and their crew of great employees do all those things. I know when I go in there that I’m in the best LCS in existence, hands down, no...
Read moreGood selection of items. Friendly staff But total scalpers. As a collector - I understand and know the going value of items. And I do understand that a business has to make a profit but as a former store owner - I also know that a business gets the merch for far less than the price sold for.
Anyways - to all customers. NEXT time you are in the store and you see an item that you want, don’t impulse buy. Instead - get out your phone and check the item on eBay. You will be surprised at the difference. The item in this store will be much much more! Yw. Some items In the store are even purchased local (GameStop and Walmart) and resold in the store for even more. Use eBay and toy stores such as bigbadtoystore.com to compare prices Pre order items Check your local businesses and be there to get an item as soon as it hits the shelves (of course - depending on what you’re...
Read moreComic side of things is good I guess they have A LOT of stuff in there but, the gaming side is more what I was there for so splitting the difference at 3*. With that said if 40k is what you are after this isn't really an option they do technically carry Warhammer but it's mainly joytoy figures not models and the selection is VERY limited. A few Drukhari things 3 boxes of marnius Calgar a DG terrain piece and some AOD stuff and that's about it they do have paint but none of the newer paints all the dates on the sticker type price tags are yrs old. Also they are listed as open at 11 thru the week but it doesn't differentiate between the comic and the gaming side of things out here on Google suppose it just hasn't had a chance to get updated I don't know but they are not open on Mondays and Tuesdays at all the comic side is just not the...
