Worst experience and worst part is I had the the owner during both my visits!! This used to be my go-to nail salon until this week! I went in for a refill Saturday morning and I clearly told the woman I needed a fill with regular polish and even after she tried to tell me I told her gel. She was rude when I repeated my self twice over her talking. I gave her the benefit of doubt because everyone has bad days. Like usual they make I paid before she actually did the color, which me being a hairstylist I always like to tip (wish I never would've and I could see the end result because she didn't deserve it). Even after tip the service was terrible. She started doing my color and my 9 year old niece could've done a better job. It was sloppy and she did not bother cleaning it up. I let it slide because I was in a hurry and didn't have time to waste my time getting it "fixed". As I'm going about my day I realize there's bumps all over my nails from the refill. I had to return today to get my color fixed since I got spray paint on them. Unfortunately I got the same person again, and it was worst than last time. She once again tried to put gel on my nails which I never asked for & after I decided I was not tipping her to do a bad job I still had to because she claimed their machine did not accept anything under $10 which color change is $8. No big deal I just needed my nails looking nice, or so I hoped so. The edges on my nails are not all painted, the top looks like it was done at home, and there's tiny bubbles on my nails from the old top coat she used, she also failed to clean up the polish she got on my skin. I only found out she was the owner when one of the other customers asked her a question. Can't believe a business owner is so unprofessional and offers such low quality work. I'm usually not picky with my nails but if I didn't have my cosmetology license she could've easily got away with these things and charges me double for applying gel which I believe was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called Wed afternoon for Thur morning appt. for a mani & pedi. Upon arrival, I was asked what services I was there for, to pick a color, & what medium (gel/acrylic) would I like. At 11:30 am there were only a couple of other customers there. I was then directed to a massage chair & asked which package I was interested in. With the pedicure under way, the technician asked what color I had chosen. When I told him, he seemed slightly surprised, mildly irritated, and then ready to get started all in the span of 10 seconds! He was very kind when asking me if the design was what I wanted. They came out beautiful!!!š Then we moved to the nail station. Since I had 9 out of 10 long nails, he quickly added a tip to the one short one and proceeded to file all into my desired almond shape. I specifically asked that he not cut my cuticles to which he again seemed annoyed but acquiesced. The results are awesome!! There was no music in the background as the TV was on. (Tuned to daytime talk shows) there was no overly obnoxious candles or chemical smells. (A huge plus for someone who is easily overwhelmed by excessive scents.) There was a customer who had taken charge of filing their own nails, which I believe even the staff was VERY confused about. I was very pleased with the price!! BUT I was not told a ball park of what it might be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love it at Kimās Nails. They were so busy today and I have never experienced what I experienced there today. A customer was so mean and heartless to Kim with everyone in there to listen and she wasnāt quiet about it either. She made it very clear that she will never be back because of two of her nails didnāt look the same as her other hand but Kim was trying to explain to the customer that it will look fine once she did what she had to and Kim even offered to take the nails off and start all over but the customer wasnāt happy and just told her no. Kim can over to do my nails as I had an appt with her for noon and the customer was like Kim canāt finish my nails as she started them. Kim was so heart broken she started crying and the customer said she doesnāt need this and they should be good as long as she had been coming there as a customer. Kim apologized to me and I told her itās fine people can be like that and donāt care anymore. This customer needed to be put in her place but it was all quiet in there as she was complaining the whole time. If you didnāt like it then go some where else and see how they do your nails. And here it is I thought I was picky about my nails. My nails never looked better then they do today. Kim is awesome and I give...
