Great assortment of iconic styled antique- mid century modern furniture. The quality of furniture is good to excellent, with consideration of each items age. There are pieces for EVERY style. Antique European cabinets- Industrial flat files, danish modern, inlayed french, classic pieces etc. A well selected batch!
Prices do vary, a lot are highly priced in my opinion. ( They are in the NYC, DC, Chicago price range). That being said, certain prices are very spot on given the quality and rarity of the pieces.
Awesome collection of vintage and antique rugs, persian and similar. ( Silks, wools, flat weave etc).
Lighting and artwork are all nicely organized and priced at "wow, thats it? " prices.

Read moreWe are so happy our highboy arrived! The customer service we received could not have been better or more supportive. All my questions were answered very promptly, which can be rather rare as we've all experienced. I'll admit, it was a little scary buying a beautiful, costly piece of furniture sight unseen from clear across our country, but it turns out the piece was described perfectly, excellent dimensions provided, the condition (which is superior, especially considering it is vintage/previously owned), really everything about it is perfect. The highboy arrived carefully wrapped almost as if it was a rare museum piece! The gentlemen who delivered it did so with utmost care and photographed it carefully so as to note any damage during shipping (none, of course. An Egyptian mummy is not this well wrapped!). I would not hesitate to purchase from Liberty & 33rd Furniture Co. again, and am happy to highly recommend this company....

Under the pretty surface, there is JB Weld and screws rather than proper repair that honors the original quality of the furniture and justifies the high prices they charge. I called them about a leg failure on a small Dunbar bench that I had for less than a year and paid $2,000 for. They said to get some glue and fix it myself. I had to take it to a real professional furniture repair shop that had to disassemble it and properly repair it. My advice is to look under the hood of the beautiful refinishing to make sure there is not shoddy repair...
