I purchased a quadplex back in August and a few weeks later was told my insurance company would drop us due to window AC units. I had to find an AC installer for 4 units (not cheap) but was told that electric service would also have to be upgraded.
I called out 3 electric companies for the electric service estimates, and told each that we were already paying a lot and I was looking for the least expensive safe path to getting electric upgraded for ACs. The first 2 companies provided me with their estimate which was for complete electric service upgrade to each unit.
The third (Giles) inspected what we had and told us that while the breaker boxes were older, they were safe and actually underutilized. They provided an estimate that was much lower than the other companies. I went with them and what they did worked fantastically.
I was so impressed with them, I used them again for different work I needed done, and will continue to use them.
I can't recommend them enough. And if that wasn't enough of a recommendation, when the inspector came out to review the installation work, that person also said that Giles was the best company they'd used. If you're looking for an electrician, I would definitely...
   Read moreI recently hired Giles to install a new breaker box in my detached garage. Kaleb was my electrician. He did great work, need and clean, and professional looking job. But he also worked very efficiently, the opposite of milking the clock. Giles might want him to slow down a little, haha! But as the customer, paying by the hour, I greatly appreciated it.
We did have a communication issue which I worked with Eric, the project coordinator to resolve. Eric owned the entire issue and went way above and beyond to resolve it. I could not have been happier. These days, just finding a contractor to do good work is hard enough. But when you have an issue, and the contractor still exceeds your expectations, well that just never happens. I was told we were the second appt. when 12 oâclock arrived with no service I called Giles to check on our service call. They were closed for lunch until 1. I called back at 1. I was asked if I had received a call that I didnât answer because of an unknown #. I told them know and asked if they could check. I was told they would check and call me back. They called back and told me the tech was still at his first call. I asked if they had any idea how much longer it would be. I was told no.
