Wayne the Train = Wayne the Scam. Just left the office for an appt that was scheduled today, but did not happen. It was a very poor customer service experience, plus a bait & switch deal. Had all of my teeth pulled & got dentures from this office approx. 3 years ago. Whole experience has been downright terrible. In the 3 years that Iâve had these dentures, 2 diff front teeth have fallen out. 1st time, I made an appt, they fixed at no charge. Other tooth broke a few weeks back. Called the office to schedule. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told there would be no charge & if there was they would let me know. I show up at the office today & am told by the unfriendly recept that I have to pay $199 up front. I informed herof phone call. She stated that this was not the case & that was due before being seen. I asked her if insurance would cover this & she told me that theyâve stopped taking insurance since January. Why would I not be told this on the phone, why no transperency about fees & not taking insurance? Stated that it was from the dentures that I got from them & itâs happened twice now & no charge before. She went and got the office manager, who made me wait a bit before she came out. She wasnât terribly friendly , without even reviewing my file told me that I did indeed have to pay. I asked what is that money for & she said for the doctor to see you. Explained that I did not need to see the dentist, that I am only getting my tooth glued back into my dentures. "Even if the doctor doesnât see you - you still have to pay for the chair & the time'. Asked her why I did not pay for the last time. "Well itâs been three years. You have to pay now." Seems kind of crazy that my dentures would break twice in that span of time. "dentures are tough on everyone". Asked if it was normal to break twice in such a short amount of time. Sherepeated, "dentures are tough on everyone". I asked what the cost of the repair would be. "'I dunno. $25?". I said I'd find another dentist because Iâve been having nothing but problems with the office since the very beginning. "'thatâs fine. Have a nice day'. taken aback by her noc chalant attitude. I ssid , 'ok, I will leave a Google review and weâll leave it at that.' She said again, 'OK. Have a nice day (very sarcastically).Letâs go back to where my problems originally started with this office. I met with Dr DiBartola & had a consultation. They place a monitor in front of you in the chair & show you pictures of how terrible your teeth are. They try to convince you to have them all pulled & get implants. They really push the implants over dentures, but who has $60k - 100k. At first, Dr DiBartola isvery nice (although I did find it odd that his office is covered in photos of his college football playing days & magazines w/pix of himself. Like his own personal museum). I decide to have teeth pulled & get dentures. I am not warned about what to expect or expectations going forward. I donât see Dr DiBartola. In fact I havenât even seen him since my initial consultation, except for passing him in the hall (where he couldnât be bothered to talk to me). It took a whole year to get my permanent dentures. This whole time I am dealing with incredible pain and discomfort. When I would go back for follow up appts, they would be hard to schedule, from the poor office hours to the staff never returning calls. I've and they did not have me on the books for the day. Have waited excessive amounts of time past my appointment. 1st time I go to p/u perm dentures - they sent the wrong pair. Next time, they sent my teeth, but there was no molars! No one seemed to think that was a very big deal. Have perm pair but 2 separate teeth have fallen out, To sum up, I would avoid this office at all cost! they only care about taking yr money to renovate their office/past glory museum. All of these things made me want to stay away from - but I was already 10k + deep to this scam and they had me hooked. Learm from my mistake and the countless other poor Google, Yelp and...
Read moreWorst experience I have ever had. First and foremost my mother is a certified dental x-ray tech as well as a dental assistant. Needless to say I know my way around a dental office. Starting off they failed to tell me they do not accept insurance anymore. Then overcharged me $455 for a regular dental cleaning. I was told multiple times by their front office that my insurance would cover the cost as I had to pay $500 out of pocket for a cleaning. Their SCAM is they call it an advanced cleaning which their is no such thing only a regular cleaning or a deep scale cleaning which yes a deep scale cleaning would cost around $500-$600 depending on dentist offices but by law a deep scale cleaning is not allowed to be done in one sitting so them calling it a advanced cleaning they are using tricky verbiage to get people to pay out of pocket and assume the cost that insurance should be covering. What has me so furious is when I called their office to alert them of the situation they took my information and said they would call me back to get this squared away when in fact they failed to return my call as this was my money I had set aside for my 6 year old sons Christmas I am now at a loss of $455 because my insurance sent me a check for $45 to cover a basic cleaning which they determined this office performed. Then this office had the audacity to email me after I told them I was leaving their office and offer a $500 cupon after I had asked several times to please fax my dental records to my new dentist which again they failed to do so. Truly disgusted with this practice as I am looking into taking legal action against wayne DIBARTOLA dental practice as I feel there misconduct and misleading information to customers should be held...
Read moreI am a current patient and had some dental issues arise over weekends. Each time I called the office I was taken care of.
The first time Paula offered to help me on a Saturday despite that the office was closing for the day. I could tell she wanted to help me. They stayed late to be sure I was taken care of. Very kind.
The second time I had a dental issue it was over Labor Day weekend, Leah was pleasant and polite. Leah got me into the office immediately on Tuesday and made it clear to call her in the interim if I needed anything. Once again the staff took care of the issue.
I would recommend DiBartola Dental. I come from a customer service background and what impresses me most is that DiBartola Dental understands how important âfirst contactâ is with patients and how that attitude sets the tone of the practice. I felt like I was a priority when I first walked into the office in 2017 and that feeling continues to this day. I mean that especially since I know how it is to be intimidated by dental work and wanting the dentist/staff to appreciate that fear when I open my mouth and my wallet. :)
The DiBartola Dental experience is consistent each time which was exemplified by my experiences with a friendly, compassionate person answering the phone on an after hours/emergency line. (We are at our most volatile and vulnerable when there is an emergency.)
Patients are more relaxed when they experience a smiling face at the front desk or a softer tone on the phone. Especially when those same smiling faces or soft tones are professional and eager to problem solve. :)
Basically, the level care is consistent, professional and much...
