We took our best friend Trouble, a 16-year-old Cockapoo, to see Dr. Carol in late August 2019. At that time, he suffered from pneumonia on and off for a year. His coughing was a huge issue. He was getting more ill by the day and we knew we were close to losing him. He was bed-ridden, had to be carried everywhere, and was no longer mentally engaged. He was giving up. After some research, I found Dr. Carol Osborne, who combines the best of all medicine, in an integrated approach, tailored to each client. I reached out to the office to see if we could do a consultation, expecting to have to wait six months. Sam called me right away and was able to get us in to see Dr. Carol within a few days! We were asked to bring our records, food, and medication with us. Trouble had two types of bacterial infection in his lungs. Too tough for a general antibiotic to remove. Over a period of six months, Dr. Carol worked with us to change his diet and supplements (including her own patented ones which are amazing!). She used a conservative and incremental approach. He also developed seizures during the decline. It was terrifying! She (and Sam) spent countless hours outside of our visits researching ways to help Trouble overcome his illness. She reached out for additional consults from specialists all over. She works tirelessly for her clients; she even said she had dreams about him. There were ups and downs along the way, as he was quite ill. Dr. Carol took a kind, loving, and calm approach to help us manage the situation confidently. She had us document all of Trouble’s coughs, behavior, food/supplement schedule, seizures (every detail), poo, and more. Each evening, we sent an update and each morning, she replied with advice and encouragement. Over time, we added a couple injectable supplements to his visits for fluid. At six months, Trouble is nearly himself again! He is walking around with attitude, telling us exactly what he wants and when he wants it. He loves to hide his bone and give lots of kisses again. Our little boy is back! We could not have done it without the love, encouragement, and true partnership of Dr. Carol and the team. We have our boy and will be grateful for every single day they gave us!

We came to Dr. Carol after our standard vet recommended amputating our almost 11yr old boxer mix’s leg. He had a large tumor removed in February and they said they thought it was a soft tissue sarcoma cancer but advised we did not need to test it. In April/may, more tumors showed up with a vengeance. That’s when amputation was recommended with no diagnosis. We sought out and chose Dr. Carol due to her natural way of treating animals for a second opinion. We immediately loved her individual care of the pets. She sees one pet at a time so she is solely focused on who she is treating in that moment. She told us to get the tumor that was removed tested for an official diagnosis. The old vet still had it so we sent it out & it came back as a lipoma! Thank goodness we got the 2nd opinion. Dr. Carol did further research and testing of the new tumors. Leading up to the diagnosis, Dr. Carol checked in almost every day to see how our pup was doing. She brought us in frequently with the changes in the tumor’s behavior and tried different approaches. There was a scare with tea tree oil poisoning where she got us in same day to treat our dog. Our pup was diagnosed with mass cell cancer officially with the help of Dr. Carol. She has guided us to a better diet regimen. She consulted with 2 oncologists on his type of cancer and continuing to do research on it. We cannot thank Dr. Carol enough for her time, research, and care into our pup. I should also note, at every other typical vet our pup is muzzled mainly because he is mixed with an “aggressive breed” and gets nervous at the vet. He is not an aggressive dog and has never exhibited any concerning behavior. This has been done at 2-3 vet offices. Dr. Carol has never muzzled him and he does wonderfully. Even when given shots he has been fine. The only time he ever needed a muzzle was at the vet so the fact that he doesn’t with Dr. Carol speaks volumes to me as an owner. You can tell he is truly at ease with her and trusts her. This is the beginning of our journey with his cancer but so happy we have Dr. Carol in our corner to work through this.

Dr. Carol is an amazing! She is a real gem! For the past 2 years, I have been taking my Frenchie, Butterscotch, to multiple veterinarians for vomiting several times a day every day as well as allergies resulting in constant scratching and licking his paws. After multiple chemical medications, injections, blood tests, x-rays and even BOAS laser surgery which they said would help with the vomiting, it was a huge monetary investment to no avail because no one was able to find the cause or fix the problems. I kept searching for someone who could get to the root cause and then I found Dr. Carol. She is professional and very knowledgeable. In my first visit, she did a thorough examination. She did not rush me out of her office with another prescription for a pill. She took her time to explain to me her findings. She had studied all of Butterscotch's medical records that she had requested before the first visit. She listened to me about my concerns. She gave me options. She gave me a new feeding plan and suggested keeping a journal. She called me personally several times to see how the plan was working and to keep me abreast of test results. For the very first time, I felt that someone finally cared about the health and well-being of my pet. She even discovered an allergy that had not shown up in any of the previous tests, which was a game changer. She told me the changes I needed to make and suggested natural formulations that she makes as well as other ones. She never pushed me to buy any product. I chose the natural products because of his allergies. Over the next 2 weeks after further testing, the vomiting had decreased and Butterscotch was not chewing and licking his paws like he used to. She found the root cause. I highly recommend Dr. Carol.

I’ve been a huge fan of Dr. Carols supplements for many years and had been using her in person services sporadically due to the long distance drive. But this last year after some really terrible experiences with the vet I was using closer to home I decided to commit to the 45 minute drive to see Dr. Carol as my primary veterinarian. She’s worth every minute and penny plus more.

In June of 2022, I went to my previous vet for a routine visit for senior blood work for three of my dogs and was given devastating news. My 8 yr old dog was in kidney failure, and the other two (9 & 13) needed surgeries (quoted 3-5k a piece) to have masses removed that they guaranteed were cancer. I was so heartbroken. I was guilted into feeling like the surgery was worth pursuing with my 13 year old dog and was not given any other reasonable options for quality end of life care. I was given no clear information about the prognosis of my dog with kidney failure other than changing to a prescription food. This was when I knew I needed to commit to Dr. Carol full time.

The care and attention she put into each of my dogs issues was so intentional. With proper blood work and urinalysis, she was able to almost completely reverse my dogs failing kidneys with her supplements and recommended diet and lifestyle changes. It is now October of 2023 and he is at a plateau with his symptoms and I’m so grateful for the improved prognosis. While this is a chronic issue, I feel confident that I’m being given all of the information needed to keep him around as long as possible.

With my 9 year old dog, she performed a biopsy and it was determined the mass had a 0% rate of metastasizing. A much more affordable and sensible option for me that eased my mind greatly. She has also provided great support for his aging hips and joints and I’ve seen so much improvement.

My 13 year old did have a malignant mass that was causing him some discomfort. Dr. Carol recognized and was sensitive to his condition and never once made me feel guilty for wanting to see reasonable care due to his age. Without using full sedation, She removed the small skin lesion so he could simply be more comfortable (again, a much more affordable option than was ever presented to us previously) and prescribed what was needed for him to age as gracefully as possible before us needing to say goodbye. Saying goodbye to a dog is hard enough, but knowing that your veterinarian has given you all of the information to feel good in making that decision is so helpful.

Overall, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Carol more. She is honest, knowledgeable, and very logical in her approach. I appreciate the balance of holistic and modern medicine and anything she recommends she will 100% be able to give you the science that backs it up. I always feel informed of all of my options so I can make the decisions that make the most sense for my dogs. If you’re looking for a vet who truly cares about their craft and isn’t just the cookie-cutter “well this is what everyone else does so let’s just do that” type,...

Our two four legged kids, Sassy and Bentley have a new lease on life thanks to Dr. Carol. The change was noticeable within only 2 weeks of our initial visit. Our pups didn’t appear over weight to us, just a little “thick” but Dr. Carol clearly let us know that bringing them both to a healthier weight would do wonders for both of them. Our older guy, Bentley is 9 years old and was starting to have some dementia type symptoms. He was standing and just staring off into space and would go out and tinkle on the driveway rather than go to the grass, he just wasn’t our same vibrant and playful boy - he seemed distant and sad. Bentley weighed around 100 pounds at our initial visit and is now a healthy 87 pounds. Dr. Carol had us change his diet (I felt horrible as I thought the raw diet and grain free kibble we were feeding were quality, I was so wrong). Their coats should have been an indicator now that I think about it. They were always getting dander shortly after bathing them, which I did regularly. Now that we are feeding a true healthy diet and one that accommodates each dog: Sassy was having some stomach upset on raw so we feed her cooked chicken and Bentley remains on the raw Stella and Chewy’s along with added veggies and in addition to Dr. Carol’s Health and Wellness AM and PM Complex. They now have mental clarity, their coats are clean and dander free and they are SO soft! In fact our family couldn’t stop commenting on how silky Bentley felt when they were petting him this past Christmas Eve. I shared with them our story and they got to see what we are feeding them when it came to the dog’s dinner time – they were amazed! And this is the first time ever, that Sassy has a waist! She has lost around 8 pounds. Having a pet with a healthy weight, just like us, makes such a difference. Dr. Carol and Halle, her daughter and wonderful assistant, make you feel welcome and are always happy to answer your questions when you are at the office. Dr. Carol will also call to follow up and see how things are going at home and will answer any questions you have. I am very proactive in our dog’s health and wellness – kind of a passion of mine and Dr. Carol has never made me feel like I am overstepping my boundaries with my questions or concerns. In fact she actually works with me and has made me feel more a part of our pups “wellness team” which is such a blessing to me. I don’t want to leave out this very important part: Bentley started having some issues with increased water consumption and with that he became a frequent flyer to having to go out every other hour. This made for some very rough nights. But yet, he kept testing negative for a urinary tract infection and his blood work came back perfect too. Dr. Carol went above and beyond to look into all the possibilities of why this was happening and did in fact find the problem. She is a stone turner and we are so blessed to have her in our back yard!

Thank you Dr. Carol for all you do for us and our pets – we know we are always in the best of...

DONT DO IT!! I was desperate and this place had great views… as I thought! Walked in and the vet was the only one working. I found it kinda odd how I could get in right away but I was like maybe it’s luck! I know exactly why I got in right away. Wouldn’t listen to me, cut me off and acted like I was stupid. I have a two year old Doberman and she LOVES people especially girls. She came over to her and I should’ve trusted her because she did not like this lady. Started growling and was scared, she’s never done this at the vet even with a male vet and while even getting blood drawn. You would’ve thought this lady Would have never seen a dog or animal in her life with the way she treated my dog with the lack of patience! I continued to try to calm her down. She gave me a tiny Choker collar, and my dog works best on her halter. Yet she wouldn’t listen to me. Made me walk over and weigh her myself while she chilled at her desk. We took her into the room and she proceeded to tell me she needed to stand still in a certain way. Have you ever met a dog Especially a dog that was uneasy and scared. Very impatient with me and my dog… Then she told me to basically put my dog in a headlock, and that if I would just stop petting my dog, she could do her job. Excuse me, my dog is terrified and I’m trying to calm her down so she does listen to everything you say. After that, I was asked to leave the room and started to look at reviews, man do I wish I would’ve read them sooner. She told me she put some kind of oil on her in the room when I wasn’t in there and I’m sure she didn’t. She left my dog tied to the table with about 1 foot of room on this choker collar And shut the door, and then my dog proceeded to freak out and chock herself out because she was alone on this choker collar tied to a table with ONE FOOT!! I trusted my instinct, and within 10 minutes I was out of that office. When I told her I was no longer going to come her then she was acting polite probably because she was scared of getting another bad review. I’m so disappointed, I’m the of person that would spend any type of money or drive however, far to help my dog and that 2 hour drive was a waste of my time, gas and stress!!! She’s just trying to suck the money out of you and doesn’t truly...
