Wow wow wow!!! We went for coffee and hoped to grab breakfast. The coffee was outstanding...and the baked treats were off the chain! And the crazy thing is, as awesome as all that was, the best and even awesomer part was the BREAKFAST TACOS! Slow smoked meat on a small tortilla with eggs and cheese...my husband and I both kept lookin at each like "whoa!" So so soooooo good! The place is super cute with comfy seating, very clean, staff was super friendly and helpful, has a community library, even jokes on the wall. Having worked for specialty coffee shops and roasters, I don’t think I can consider this as either. Will you get an all right latte or something with milk and sweetener? Probably. But I can’t recommend them for plain old black drip coffee. They weren’t very knowledgeable about the available coffee options, or at least, couldn’t explain them to me. And the coffee quality was lacking. I ordered a pour over of their lightest roast, since I didn’t have much other info to work with, and either their definition of “light” is very different from mine, or it was badly brewed - bitter,...

The coffee beans are pretty good, but the lattes are executed terribly. Scorched milk that is so hot upon receiving that you can’t drink it until you wait 20 minutes for it to cool down. Once it cools, it’ll taste so burnt that you’ll cringe - especially if you’re used to drinking good coffee. Definitely just order an americano, I strongly don’t recommend you get anything with steamed milk here. The atmosphere is super cute. The owner seems polite, but I didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask for a remake on my burnt $6 drink. 😕 Just...
