Waste of time and money.Paid full price but did NOT receive all services agreed upon. Agregious disregard for the value of my time. And even then, the service that was rendered was slow and done incorrectly. I cringed watching the shop boy, not a mechanic, tighten the lug nuts on my aluminum alloy rims with an impact gun (not even a torque stick on it... at a TIRE shop!?) He maxed it out on every nut. That's too tight for most rims and compromises the integral strength of the rim. He also did not use a constant star pattern to tighten the nuts but rather simply started on the top and went around. This is good way to damage any rim but, especially aluminum rims. Additionally, it is a safety hazard. Many wheels intalled this way have come loose or staight up broken off while the vehicle was in operation. That was the rotation and balance I wasted almost 45 dollars on. My problem was actually worse when i left this place. Now, instead of a car that had a vibration at 55 on up, but stayed straight on the road. I had a car that pulled to the right and vibrated at all speeds. Of course I didn't know that until I finally just left with a full bill and partial poorly done work was completed. After almost 2 hours there, my car was still waiting for an alignment check. Just a check, not repairs. One lift occupied but an immobilized vehicle waiting for parts to resume work. The other, a truck that had been checked was still a running moveable truck that would stay there until ALL, at the moment unauthorized, repairs were completed... Completed! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! I am a trained mechanic with a certificate and 4 years experience, currently taking a break. No shop ties up a lift while they wait for customer authorization and parts. Not when they could be selling more services to the next customer with a simple 10 the 15 minute inspection. While they wait for authorization and parts that might be fast, might be slow, might not be in stock, the parts shop might be busy, half your staff is at lunch etc, etc. They could have run the check on the car accessed the necessary repairs and scheduled an appointment for necessary repairs or even an alignment after I completed the repairs myself, as I accidentally said I would up front. I knew it was bad (the suspension damage), the alignment check would have told me how bad and would be able to discern damage that you need to have a car on a lift to properly check and would to upsell services and parts if you knew your job well. I don't think any actual certified technicians work here. I didn't notice a single ASE certification on the wall. Should have been a sign to turn around and walk out. I see many positive reviews here, as a professional in the field, I was sorely disappointed. In the end my car never saw that alignment rack because I was told the wait was at that point indefinite. I had seen a car or two pass mine in line although I called before ever showing up there. I was not told the only efficient way to have my car serviced was if I had an appointment or that my phone call did not earn me a place in line or even the start of service did not get my car in line for the rack. Perhaps, it's better that I got my car out of there sooner rather than later. Still, full price for half the service, lots of wasted time and not even an offer for an appointment to finish what they started. I took my car to firestone where the TECHNICIAN showed me the damage to my wheels from the first guys impact wrench and took the last two wheels off in front of me to prove the damage was not his doing. And found just under 2500 dollars worth of repairs shocks, struts, most rubber bushings and a damaged rear axle. Some of it routine like the shocks and struts. The axle was damaged when the retread came flying off a semi and tore though the underside of my wife's car on the 2 lane highway in the middle of nowhere. Some of this work I will do myself some i will hand off to the techs at Firestone, NONE will ever be allotted to Alberto's again. By the way, soy puro Americana, pero soy...
Read moreI got approved for 1600 dollars with Acima Credit, i went in the day before to make sure everything was okay and on the up and up for my classic Mercedes because it needed tires, spoke with the kid at the desk to question how it works, he said, you have to have the 42 dollars and something and thats it. We then came back the next day for our appointnent. My wife asked again about the approval and how it worked. Well it changed it was the 42 dollara and something and then he told us it was their fee of 7 percent of the total bill. We said okay and are you sure everything has gone through. " Oh yeah your good" so they proceeded to do the tires. He told us it would only take like 20 min. It ended up being over and hour which was fine. We also asked for them to check the shocks. They took that in seperately to check the shocks. They came back with the quote and he asked if we wanted to add that work. We said that would be okay. Then thats when all hell broke loose. He said "oh they need to verify your checking account." We were like what? We asked you if everything was okay in the first place. " oh you'll be fine let me call them." So he called Acima so apparently they didnt upload the check we sent in and they put one number wrong. Then Acima said we will need to do another application. So they did and guess what, cant have more than one application in 90 days so they denied it. Then he tells us," well were gonna need our tires back." And they had the absolute nerve to charge us 40 dollars after sitting there for over 2 and half hours! Not only that we let them know that there was a security key for our car so they couldnt use that key to start the car. After they put our old tires back on and charged us 40 dollars for their mistake to not make sure everything was approved, the kid calls back and we are on the freeway and tells my wife, " hey I have your security key to your Mercedes I took it off your keyring." So we had to turn around and go back and pick it up! He had no business taking it off my keyring. I dont care if he didnt want his people using it. I would never recommend this place to anyone! We went and asked and asked to make sure everything was okay. Even Acima told me that they should have never of put the tires on until they followed the steps that they had in place. We wasted over 4 hours! Not only.that when they put my.old tires back on they did not put the weights back on geared for my tires so now it shakes at a certain speed! It did not do that when I took it. Stay away from this place they do not know what to do or how to work! Poor customer service! Should have never been charged 40 dollars for...
Read moreI spent over 2000 Dollars here on rims and tires for my 2009 Nissan cube. First of all it took a good 2 weeks before my rims got there but ok. Everybody seems real nice, very helpful for the most part. Then about 3 months later my car started shaking at 45miles per hour so I took my car back and ask if they could check to see if maybe some weights fell off or something. Sure enough they said yes some fell off so that was that. I noticed that they forgot to replace one of my chrome valve stem covers but I let that go. About a month later the shaking was back so my husband did everything that was needed on the front end, control arms, struts, Axel's the works. My husband has been an auto technician for over 35 years so he knows what he's doing. A week ago I took it back to get all 4 tires balanced again. It was ok for about 4 days. Then Car was shaking again. I noticed a couple of weight's on my drive way, they came off AGAIN. Really? I took it back today 9 /3/2024. I made sure to check the closing time on the website. Clearly states 5:30pm. So I talked to the young lady at the counter, she takes my keys and I wait about 15 minutes, only to be told it's too late and JR said he won't take it right now. Apparently they close at 5:00pm. I told him why did she take my keys and say it was going to be done? He blatantly lied to my face and stated that the young lady at the counter was new. Ha ha ha!!! I thought that was hilarious because she was there when I bought the rims 4 months ago. She's part of the family. Pretty sure she's Jr's sister. Then he said the website hasn't been updated with the closing time and blamed that on covid. Really?? That's an old excuse son. Can't use that one anymore. I'm just wondering if it was so easy for him to look me straight in my face and lie about his own family, then what else are they lieing to me about. All I wanted was 1 tire balanced. The one the weights fell off of AGAIN. Thats it. But he straight out refused and lied to my face. If I didn't have a warranty on my tires with them, I promise I wouldn't go back. Unfortunately I'm stuck with them. I should have read reviews before choosing them. Hopefully his mother Lorena can make this right. She said she was big on keeping customers happy. To bad her son doesn't see things that way. I refuse to deal with Jr again. He is so rude and unprofessional. They need a new shop manager. The hours posted on the website are a form of false...
