Pete's Tire Barns — Local services in South Windsor

This was hands-down the best experience I've ever had at a tire shop. We were heading out on a long road trip when we ran over a bolt on 291. We pulled off the highway and looked for a parking lot to pull into so we could check out the tire. We were so lucky that we pulled into Pete's!

They looked at the tire and saw there was no way to patch it. They then helped us put on the spare tire. After it was on, we said we just needed to be able to make it to another tire store (because we didn't think they'd have our tires at Pete's). They said, "We might have these tires in stock here. We could give you a quote so you could compare to the other place."

We were in a very vulnerable situation. They could have quoted us a high price. But they gave us a good price and took us right in and replaced all four tires (since we had all wheel drive). I’m not one to write reviews, but I have to share my experience at Pete’s Tire Barn. I happened to be a sticky situation, leaving for a 10hr road trip in 2 days and got a flat tire yesterday. I called Pete’s and spoke with Jordan, who was very kind over the phone, explained in detail what my options were. He was able to order 4 tires for me for today, and told me to head over. I used to go to the Gardner, MA location and now I use the one in South Windsor, CT. Not much difference in either shop. These people are great. Easy to deal with, super knowledgeable about ALL types of tires from my 185/65/15s to the biggest tires I've ever seen sitting out in the yard. Not a fancy building but it's a tire shop.
