La Mexicana Market — Local services in Southern Pines

I went here about 7 months ago. The store itself is decent. I only have been twice. But the food truck outside makes the nastiest Mexican food I have ever tasted. Two other people along with myself got chicken burritos. We were so hungry and eager to eat them when we got home, we were all disappointed!!! The seasoning tasted nasty, the meat was dry and hard and the rice was under cooked and hard. Also, there was not guacamole, sour cream, onions, peppers and the cheese was tasteless! It was terrible! Moreover, I stood in line a long time just to find out I had to go inside to pay! The person who made that food should be ashamed of their self! I would not eat here...

Went here for the first time a few days ago and I'M IN LOVE! I'm from the west side of the country where Mexican snacks and food are in abundance. Since moving to NC, I've had difficulties finding my favorite snacks from home and other items. I was hesitant to visit at first (it was getting late) and I'M SO GLAD I WENT! There's a taco truck that's part of the establishment so you look at the menu on the truck and then order/pay inside. You can dine inside or outside. The staff is nice and the store is stocked! Highly recommend you visit if you want some yummy Mexican food and snacks. Just fyi, I recommend the chicharron...

Nori nonya , this isn't moe's southwest grill or Taco Bell this is an authentic Mexican food stand. The food here is as fresh as it can be. If you want something fast for to McDonald's or something this places has hand made tortillas meat is cooked by the hours or less. You can't criticize a place without knowing actual authentic food so stop...
